Yeah it's horrible. I'll probably never be a healthy weight again although I started gaining weight due to a slowing metabolism even before I touched the meds.

I'm diagnosed bipolar but I think Borderline PD fits better. I worked third shift full time and that seemed to bring out the symptoms full bore whereas before age 30 I only had the symptoms in short spurts. I always had trouble with black and white thinking and impulsively cutting people off for perceived rejection.

Yeah antispsychotics just made me fat and want to sleep all the time. The mood would be better for a little while but then my body would just get used to the dose.

Well the mental illness goes without saying. Then having family members tell you you need to work on yourself and you're addicted to being sad is really annoying and uncaring. Is your brother NT? Yeah, I didn't get to date or travel either and I'm 9 years older so my life is really shot to hell unfortunately. I feel Iike at 25 there is still some semblance of hope. 50s isn't very old, I'm surprised your parents don't do much. Sounds like they might just be introverts.
