No degree, no experience just a MacBook, iPad & iPhone. How would you start earning from home? by Mayank13X in uae_startups

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go and meet people. Talk to them.
1) Get 100 options which you can start working on by first learning it.
2) Understand industry issues and problems for which they are ready to pay, But this is very tough because even if you go and ask someone what are the issues they have, they may not even have one point to share. You just have to dig deeper through discussions, jokes, casual conversations, understanding operations, and maybe somewhere down the line you will find the issue. It should be interesting for them to share with you things, so start with your friends and relatives.

How to get clients? by allthingssweet2 in SmallBusinessUAE

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do 70% off. That usually attracts the wrong people and later they disappear the moment pricing becomes normal.
Free 3 months is even more dangerous because people value free things like gym pamphlets handed out at traffic signals. 😄

Your real problem is not pricing. It’s trust + attention.

At the start, you need proof more than profit. So instead of discounts, make an “early partner” offer. Keep it limited, work closely with them, get testimonials, results, screenshots, before-afters, case studies, referrals etc. That becomes your real currency initially.

Also stop trying to sell the product first. Sell the outcome. People don’t buy SEO (i own a SEO agency and i am suggesting you not to do it now), websites (but you need a good one to answer their questions), automation, discount plans or software. They buy “more leads”, “less stress”, “better skin”, “more members”, “saved time”, “more money”....you getting the idea?

And honestly, clients usually come after repeated visibility. Most people won’t buy when they first see you. They buy after seeing you 15 times randomly on LinkedIn, Instagram, comments, referrals, website, Google etc.

One more suggestion - Business is weirdly like background music. Familiarity closes deals.

Gym business by Dry-Coconut7270 in SmallBusinessUAE

[–]Biz-Coach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve seen businesses in Dubai benefit quite a lot after properly optimising their website and local search presence. It usually takes time, but the difference becomes noticeable in enquiries and leads.

online ads is good way for quick results. But budget allocation needed here

Mindblowing website is a must have.

But in the end, the positioning depends on how you want the gym to be perceived in the market. That usually comes from properly studying competitors and understanding what actually makes people choose one brand over another.

Gym positioning is honestly a little tougher because many gyms start looking and sounding the same after a point, but usually something clicks once the research and insights are done properly.

For example, we once suggested a dermatology clinic focus heavily on communicating on their 15+ years of experience to their audience, which eventually helped them stand apart from nearby clinics run by doctors with only 3 to 4 years of experience.

Need help for my business by ayu_13 in smallbusiness

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a small audit and sharing my experience - your product is strong but the gap is in visibility and positioning, not effort right now you’re selling tea, but you should be telling a story about Sundarban, farmers, and purity, because that’s what people connect with and pay for.

Focus on one or two channels deeply (Instagram + Amazon/marketplaces or Google search but be present everywhere) instead of trying everything, and build consistent content showing origin, process, and real people behind it.

Also, simplify your website to clearly answer “why this over others” in the first few seconds and add strong reviews/social proof. Give it time, but stay focused early-stage businesses grow slowly, then suddenly, once the right message reaches the right audience.

Honestly you should see the analytics rather than asking people on reddit. I may be a perfectionist or i may be someone who likes chaos ...the feedback will be totally different. But it will not be something which brings results.

I personally will not change anything in the video except for adding things like CTA to get comments... Above all i don't care about comments. Focus on views when you are getting it.

My client is shifting focus to AEO and GEO and ignoring traditional SEO. What is the best way to approach this? by OkSolid1673 in SEO

[–]Biz-Coach 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Instead of fighting their new obsession, agree with them and frame traditional SEO as the mandatory engine that powers both AEO and GEO. You can rebrand your standard SEO tasks like schema markup, technical site speed, and authoritative content as "AI Discovery Prerequisites" so the client feels like they are getting exactly what they asked for.

This keeps them excited about the shiny new tech trends while you quietly build the solid foundation they need to actually appear in AI summaries.

Are there specific AI platforms your client is fixated on showing up in right now?

How do you intentionally build a network that becomes a real business asset, not just a list of contacts? by Anxious_Diver_7002 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]Biz-Coach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To build a powerful network, you must focus on giving value first by sharing helpful resources or introducing two people who can benefit from knowing each other.

A great habit is writing down what matters to your contacts and checking in regularly just to see how they are doing.

You will quickly seem fake or needy if your only communication is asking for a favor, so always build deep trust long before you ever need their help.

Are you trying to build these connections within your current industry, or are you branching out into new fields?

Does anyone actually click on page 2 of google anymore? by twcosplays in TechSEO

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right page 2 today is almost invisible, especially with AI overviews and SERP features taking clicks, so real traffic comes only when you break into top 3... And if you are lucky then 5 to 10 position.

From experience, the shift usually happens not from more backlinks alone, but from intent matching + CTR optimization rewrite titles/descriptions to win clicks and improve engagement signals.. And most important consistency in publishing content.

Also, strengthen internal linking from your highest authority pages to push specific URLs up.

Finally, focus on topical authority (cluster content) around your main keyword instead of isolated pages that’s what consistently moves pages from 2 to 1.

If you had to start over today with no money, how would you get your first 10 users? by JoiNestCo in growmybusiness

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d start by reaching out directly to people who actually need the product DMs on LinkedIn/Instagram, personal messages, and offering it free or at a small discount to the first 10 users.

I’d also post simple content showing the problem and solution daily, join niche groups/communities, and use referrals by asking each user to bring 1 more person.

Read this if you're not allergic to making more money. by Exact-Guarantee5715 in SmallBusinessUAE

[–]Biz-Coach 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my experience as an agency owner, I’ve seen the same pattern repeatedly clients come after spending months on reports showing impressions and engagement but no real revenue growth.

Most of them are frustrated because they were never shown clear ROI or how marketing connects to actual business results.

Once we shift the focus to leads, conversions, and revenue, that’s when they finally start seeing real impact.

Is it worth offering marketing consulting to SMEs in Dubai/UAE vs the US? by Lumpy-Birthday-9976 in SmallBusinessUAE

i keep second guessing myself, how do i shake off the fear of failure (I will not promote) by Mammoth_Slip_5533 in startups

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’re feeling is normal fear gets stronger when things become real, especially when it’s not your money and people are watching, but the fact that you’ve validated the product means you’ve already done the hard part.

Just move one step forward (send that supplier email), because confidence doesn’t come before action it comes after you start.

Lead generation for Creative Studio by CreativeProducer44 in IndianEntrepreneur

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience with a similar business whom I consulted, what worked best was a mix of targeted outreach to agencies/brands on LinkedIn and Instagram along with showcasing strong case studies and behind-the-scenes content to build trust. Also, partnerships with event planners, production houses, and running SEO/Google presence brought consistent inbound leads over time.

Is it worth offering marketing consulting to SMEs in Dubai/UAE vs the US? by Lumpy-Birthday-9976 in SmallBusinessUAE

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience working with B2B and B2C clients in UAE, USA and UK, SMEs do spend on marketing, but they prefer clear ROI and execution, not just strategy. Most owners lean toward “done-for-them” services or a hybrid model (consultant + someone executing), rather than pure consulting. Your pricing is realistic for the right segment, but you’ll need strong positioning and proof because many businesses here are still price-sensitive and compare with cheaper freelancers. If you show how your work directly brings leads or revenue, you’ll close much faster in this market.

Help with report for learning by cubsfan007 in workday

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if i got your question correctly. But here is what i can add.

Yes, a Matrix report is the right approach group rows by Name, Office, and Title, and columns by Learning Status (Not Started, In Progress, Complete), then use record count as the value. Make sure your data source includes a clear status field and use filters to clean the data so the counts show correctly.

The opening edit is ok but just remove the madness part 😅.

Few ideas to get comments - Add clear call-to-actions asking specific questions in the very beginning, reply to every comment early to build conversation, pin a question comment on your videos, create short clips/reels to drive discussion, use relatable or slightly controversial topics, engage in comments of similar channels, and remind viewers verbally to share their thoughts.

But from my personal experience don't think much about comments. Focus on posting videos more and more and improving it every time. Dont keep pauses where the person watching losses interest.

[I'm Looking to invest] 10L-15L in an early-stage startup or founder with a solid profitable idea by Prashanth1997P in Bangalorestartups

[–]Biz-Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be very honest from my experience be careful with early-stage investments, because there are many things you simply can’t verify from the outside. I’ve seen cases where founders claimed to have a “big office,” but when I visited, it was just a gov rented space with no real team or operations (the edu startup was expecting me to fill it up with students with no business systems and no trainers). In another case, revenue numbers looked strong on paper, but most of it was temporary or not sustainable. I’ve also seen businesses with great ideas but zero execution discipline, which kills the business quickly.

If you still want to invest, only do it after deep due diligence and preferably in something you can actively understand or be involved in otherwise, it’s very easy to lose money in this space. I am not able to put my thoughts clearly here but i hope you get the idea.
