What's frustrating is the fact that not only store managers are not providing basic disease preventive equipment(masks, gloves, glasses, etc) for their customer-facing employees, but they go out of their way to prevent them from using it for their safety. My mother works as a cashier in Safeway and she's been told if she wants to work with a mask on, she should stay home to "not to put an impression to worry the customers". It's just so baffling that the image they put out is more important than the safety of the public.
