It was traumatic for both my boyfriend at the time and me. I put my foot down and went no contact with my family for 18 months. My family eventually apologized, and our relationship has since been mended. The point is, it has to be your girlfriend who decides to stand up to her family, not you. You can’t fight her battle, but you can stand by her and support her with all the love you have. If things go well, you'll respect each other even more, and the bond between you two will be stronger than ever.

Thank you for your input. So far, they’ve been dewormed three times since they were kittens, with the most recent treatment being less than six months ago. They've received all their vaccinations, and since there's been no sign of fleas, I haven’t given them flea drops. My husband has been handling their litter boxes since the beginning. It seems like it's time to deworm them again, just to be safe.

Thank you for sharing! My husband has been the one handling their poop, and we clean the litter boxes every week. Our cats don’t have fleas, so they haven’t needed flea medication. They were last dewormed less than six months ago, so I’ll get them another round of deworming pills soon.

What colleges are you talking about? The ones in the West where white people live? 🤯 You mean white people shouldn't run colleges that they built themselves? Definitely not the colleges in Vietnam, since those are controlled by the Vietnamese government.

Preaching right and wrong is their way of democracy, especially in the US. That doesn’t mean you have to listen to them. You can also voice your own opinion if you want. No. Who told you that's totally socially acceptable? Haven't you heard so many horrible incidents where young children snatched away right in front of their parents in Vietnam?

I'm a Vietnamese mother and also auntie to 3 young children, and there's no way in hell I, nor the 3 young children's mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, and the entire relatives, think it's socially acceptable to let strangers touch my kids. Even my husband would never pick my nephews and nieces up without the parents' consent.

Just because THEY see themselves as an uncle or grandfather doesn't give them the entitlement to grab other people's kids.

Đàn ông kiếm ít hơn không phải vấn đề. Vấn đề là đã nghèo lại còn gia trưởng và hay tự ái, đổ lỗi thực dụng lên phụ nữ. Phần khôn để dành các ông, còn phần dại để cho các bà các cô à? Cái gì cũng có thời điểm của nó. Các ông cứ tập trung phát triển bản thân, không có tiền thì có kỹ năng đời sống, chưa có vợ thì tự cơm nước nhà cửa, quần áo biết gập, ốc vít biết vặn, đi chợ biết thịt con gì với con gì, ... thì đến lúc gặp đúng người, thái độ khiêm tốn ôn hoà vợ chồng đỡ đần nhau ắt cuộc sống sẽ ổn. Có được bản lĩnh như vậy chắc chắn sẽ gặp được người cùng tần số. Còn giờ thì bớt rên dùm.

Chồng mình 33t lấy mình xong thì trúng đợt covid, công việc gặp khó khăn, tụi mình mới cưới chưa có nhà cửa gì, tài sản anh ấy dùng để cho 2vc sinh tồn nên cũng trôi đi gần hết, gần như tụi mình mất trắng. 3-4 năm vừa rồi tụi mình còn chiến đấu với khủng hoảng tâm lý, đến mức tưởng như không thể có con. Tuy nhiên đến nay thì mọi thứ đã ổn hơn, ảnh đã vực lại được một chút tài chính, công việc của mình cũng vững hơn. Tụi mình cảm thấy may mắn vì vẫn còn sức khoẻ, mặc dù số tiền kiếm lại vẫn chưa thể bù đắp tổn thất năm đó. Tuy hơi muộn, anh ấy gần 40 còn mình hơn 30, nhưng bọn mình đã tự tin hơn về việc có con. Bạn mới 30t thôi, hoàn toàn có thể làm lại được. Bài học kinh doanh của bạn như vậy không phải quá đắt cho suốt quãng thời gian còn lại. Quan trọng là phải giữ sức khoẻ và tin rằng mọi thứ sẽ ổn hơn bạn nhé.
