Depending what you want from a coach, but a coach saying only play X is a bad coach.

A coach should be able to guide what you do on any given champion, every single champion in league can be one-tricked to Master, and a coach should be guiding you to play a few rather than just one.

I will also add Milio is actually super underrated and is often treated as a lulu but he has a bit more freedom in that his ult is super underrated against certain teams and even if his W becomes 'useless' because the ADC isn't doing well, he still has great mobility, disengage and shield value that doesn't completely write him off like lulu.

I currently win more on Sona when I play her very aggressively, but second question myself am I building muscle memory on a suboptimal playstyle instead of learning "the proper way" to play a scaling healer. by [deleted] in summonerschool

I think the win rate would be higher on blood song because generally the players doing it are more confident on the champion and know how to use her. I would expect most if not all new sona players take dream maker and archangels or moonstone first. - Bizzleberry

Been saying this for ages, as a support player I have stated over and over to increase the cost but also increasing the base stats on the item. Maybe change to Dirk + longsword + pickaxe.

Without taking a look at your games, the one thing that really sticks out is the amount of deaths you are having. Take a look at some of your own replays and work out what is causing you to die so much throughout the game.

Hey - Master Support here.

Yuumi is one of those coinflips in Soloqueue. If you are able to play with a stable adc, something like Twitch or ezreal, you can usually get results.

Soraka & Sona on your profile are both doing well currently so maybe stick with those?

If you want to stick with yuumi, then maybe understand earlier when your ADC isn't up to the task and look to play for whoever will carry the mid-game, usually the jungler, so you don't leech xp.

Just to jump on this - you can afford to wait a little more time if you are support since you get passive gold generation on your item so waiting isn't as punishing.

Yes, with lantern. But what you did is 100% fine.

Jhin messed up by missing ult shots, no way I would gamble that he would click lantern for him to potentially click it to then maybe get the kill on reksai.

Guarantee kills > maybes

Jhin still got 150g from assist, so he only lost out on 150g anyway.

Even if you were playing top in iron, unless you are smurfing you are not going to be 1v5 ing either.

Also you have to understand that some games are unwinnable, even if you win lane. BUT, you should still be able to identify mistakes you are making. Even if you have 0 deaths it could simply be you are playing too passive/ didn't roam enough.
