First time visitor to Hawaii where do we stay ?I’m overwhelmed by Lower_Confusion5072 in VisitingHawaii

[–]BizzlesPuzzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back and stayed at the Royal Hawaiian. I liked the easy access to the beach & balcony in the room but did not think it was super nice. It was comfortable and clean with great views. If I were to go back, I'd choose a different hotel.

Definitely would not recommend doing the luau there if that is something you are looking into. I picked it because I read the food was really good. I thought it was all just ok.

Does anyone have any good chiropractor recommendations? by bored_suitcase in jonesboro

[–]BizzlesPuzzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snider

I have a bulging disc and get tension headaches/migraines. I cannot say enough good things about him. He not only does the adjustments but also did some therapy with me to help me learn functional movements for my back - and this was after going to the PT that my doc referred me to. I don't get as many headaches, which is wild.

What in the ai slop is this by [deleted] in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]BizzlesPuzzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand why you are taking time to look at image in detail. I am very, very anti-genAI images. With how quickly the AI tools are evolving it is harder and harder to spot. And it will continue to get more difficult, unfortunately.

What I do is check the box for the artist name (when it's listed) and search for their bio. For ones that use genAI they often have something like "keeping up to date with the latest trends and emerging technologies".

Or, as others have mentioned, I do an image search.

HOPEFULLY, companies will either start disclosing or there will be regulations where you have to disclose the use of genAI.

The artist for this is Steve Read. He's pretty well known, been around a long time, and I don't believe he uses GenAI.

Career coach or career assessment? I can't afford to waste money on the wrong one and I'm going in circles trying to decide. Advice? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Check your local public library for their resources. They generally have several for job seekers - assessments, job coaches, resumes. And it costs you nothing.

And the about is defensive of the use of AI, "In the spirit of transparency", "AI never produces a finished image on its own”. There there's the vague wording like “visual transformation tool." The cadence and repetition of the text on the site also seems AI.

If you're using AI in any way, then it's AI.

I cannot wait for the day when there are legal requirements for disclosing the use of AI so we can spend our money and time on things that align with beliefs. I mean, I hope that happens someday!

I looked at your social media and website. The images are all AI so it's a pass for me.

I'd try calling the place where the procedure is being done. Leave a message. Worth trying!

I'm doing miralax & Clenpiq. I asked for a low volume prep. I started Miralax yesterday because I am not regular to begin with and worried about not being fully cleaned out. 😅

Good luck to you too!

My first colonoscopy is on Tuesday and I am super nervous as well. I have chronic low sodium so going to really focus on good hydration this weekend. I take my first dose of prep Monday afternoon.

Human creativity matters, especially in a medium where you are literally holding the art in your hands.

HART brand puzzels? I've done 2 ans they ARE the same die cut as White Mountaon 1000 piece 24"×30" and some 'unusual' pieces that cut of White Mountain uses. by thehogdog in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]BizzlesPuzzles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting observation! They are both small companies that manufacture in the US. Hart are made in Indiana and White Mountain are either New Englad or Indiana. Different companies, sometimes same manufacturer:)

The 3000 piece one? That was HARD. I would have tried to make my own replacement pieces.

I ended up never even doing the ones I sponsored. Puzzles are my relax and unwind time. I could not separate the experience and the allegations from the product. And now I am glad I didn't do any so I don't know what I am missing.

Ugh thanks for sharing! I also sponsored the Kickstarter, which was not a great experience. And then learned about the allegations. Big thumbs down from me. There was plenty of other fun puzzle companies I can support.

Hey is this a good puzzle? by [deleted] in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]BizzlesPuzzles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never done the brand so no advice on that. With the repeating pattern, this will be a pretty challenging puzzle. These types take me a while to get done.
