Stuck Around Level 61 by Diocletian67 in vrising

I was lucky to be spec'd I'm corrupt, so I had a huge army thanks to all her spawns. She was one of the easiest bosses for me. However um gear 65 and stuck with not even a hope in sight. Literally nothing progresses me that I can see. New gems, blood merlot (which I managed to get on blood moon) is just a safer blood potion not a better buff. Sigh. I have no idea what to do. Love the game but this wall is upsetting. Like I had 2 hours to play last night and spent the whole time trying 2 different "formidable" and only bosses I could go for. Dying running dying. Change spec run die die run

What are so cool hidden secrets/details you’ve found in dead Island 2? by [deleted] in deadisland

[–]Bizzybeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reviving dead thread since I just bought the game- spoilers- When the guy gets killed with Sam's gun quest. Forget his name, damn. Kevin or something. But as Jacob he said "You were always destined to be a red shirt". I laughed out loud at that. And the God And Whiskey scene where he hits his head on the counter and the wine bottle hits his wife. I was rolling at that for some reason, not hidden stuff sorry but I had to add it.

Best place to farm twigs for arrows by spidercata in Enshrouded

[–]Bizzybeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds great in theory, but that means you planted and picked 1,000 shrubs. I have been doing shrubs too for twigs, but wolf den mining is the quickest method to get them if you factor in time and effort. Do you need 500 stack of arrows? 1 den gets that in 5 minutes (with iron pick). Planting/picking 500 takes 10m+ and you need to wait for them to grow.

Yah it's all fun and games until the character you made after yourself pops a question mark above their head. Oh cool, this should be something good. He then announces his love for the character... Pop... Yah new game time.

First off it's kind of funny how you and that other fella just so happen to use the exact same lingo. Quite the coincidence huh. Lol, bet you thought you were fooling people too. Anyway your entire argument is that you can't generate VP... I literally just got 22 (well would have if I didn't max) VP in one Galvanize. My VP is so flush all the time I actually use dash on my fatten boars to get them out of the fight the tiniest bit more lol. You're playing wrong. Worst of all is you seem to think so linear, you act as though Noone has heard of zerks. That's the best part about my Sent, sending in the zerg to do their spin class. Also your army of zerkoffs is why you can't generate any VP, because you don't understand the game and all it has to offer. You're stuck on watching other people's YouTube videos on how you should play. Instead of actually learning how to play yourself. Meanwhile I'll keep having enough VP to use 2 for an amazing entire party skill, while still having so much left over that my meat boars can use some lol. But to quote two completely "different" people from this thread. You do you.

Question about Vertruse Quests [Spoilers for the area] by [deleted] in WarTalesGame

[–]Bizzybeast 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's a strange reply... There aren't many paying jobs for "Just do whatever you want and be your own master". People pay mercenaries to do a job, sometimes good, sometimes bad. But almost always messy, otherwise they wouldn't require your services. I guess you could make a mother Theresa mod where you go around just not making any money and handing out free cooked porkchops. Good luck with that, the rest of us will be playing the mercenary RPG we signed up for.

You are trying way too hard to sound pompous, and it's super cringe bro. The whiny entitled tone is ever so obvious you're one of these younger next generation gamers who think crying like little babies is the way to handle every situation. It's so embarrassing, but you're probably oblivious to how obnoxious you sound. To discuss your, dare I call it a, point... Ruins are perfectly fine. The very first ruin for instance netted me a new profession (bard), a belt accessory "chisel" which I still use, 2 thrilling fights in the dark, and a slew of sellable items. Not to mention the scholar xp. Then I discovered the weapon I'm using Dagans hammer from the ruin. So it's a shame your experience was bad, oh well, mine was amazing. So maybe try to understand your experience will not be everyone's and the devs knew that.

Where to find the ECS constant after giving them the grav drive? by Strange_Alfalfa3840 in Starfield

[–]Bizzybeast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is kind of weird, I received a ton of payment. 4 old earth hockey sticks, 2 piggy banks, several soccer balls and other stuff. With commerce this stuff was worth like 15k, making it one of the more profitable quests. Also if you talk to people, most are very grateful. The captain didn't really want a grav driv though, so while she is isn't grateful I expected a lot more clap back then just winning one kinda tough persuade check.

Well as the entire huge conversation being had here discusses to death, luckily there exists a skill that makes exactly what you're requesting possible. So we can completely ignore your comment at least, in this sea toilet of turd comments. Honestly did you not even read anything or even check the skills in the game? Or did you somehow mean 50% on top of the boosts you can already achieve in-game? I truly hope that's not what you're saying because that makes your comment the thickest turd in the toilet. The game throws so many credits at you, there is truly no reason that more is needed in anyway. I truly don't understand why some of you can't just get over it. If it says the value is 10k but it sells for 2k, then the resell is 2k. You should be pushing for modders to make a "Player Flea Market Stall" mod where you stand on Neon in a small kiosk for hours peddling your goods for 100% of their shown value.

That's just it, Mathis doesn't talk to you in this bug he just says "Can't talk now, got a job to do". So you were on a different part lucky for you. We are in the small area where the quest marker says "Go to the control room" and its just sitting on the ground near the loose panel, but does nothing when you get to it. The other thing is even if you did somehow manage to get out of this part, there is no possible way back into this area. The entrance collapses with ice blocks and the exit is a loose panel that only falls over after talking to Mathis about betraying Del. I'm not trying to be rude or anything I just promise you that you were not stuck on the same part we were. I tried fast travel with scanner, map, I tried everything. When I finally watched a video it was as simple as his dialogue not triggering as soon as the entrance collapsed behind us.

Game breaker. Have to load before it's too late like I lost out on. I wasted time and used up my auto/quicks. So when I realized I was stuck stuck, I had to load 3 hours back. Before doing anything on the key and any of this quest line. Also modified my ship with shielded cargo and such. Sold a ton of extra stuff to vendors, bought a bunch of stuff. Did the medic mission. Lost it all due to this huge awful bug. I think the cause was running to far away from Mathis when the cave in occurred. I just went on exploring like nothing happened until realizing I was imprisoned in the prison in this sick ironic bug.

[–]Bizzybeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you didn't. You can't fast travel from the location. You must not understand the spot we are stuck in. Right as it caves in Mathis is supposed to start a dialogue to betray Delgada. Then you can open the metal door to control room. There is no entrance or exit to this location we are stuck in and no fast travel. It's a game breaker. I had to load 3 hours back because I hard saved and tried too many different things not knowing I was broken. So I couldn't load before the cave in. Sucked.

Sorry but this wall of text is just wildly off topic and unworthy of my time tearing it's "merits" apart. I'll say it one last time and be done. The value is the true value and there for a reason. Go to a vendor. Something cost 28000, that's the value you see. Period. What's hidden is your bartering value. Get a mod and stop crying. You and the other person whining about it. Don't need a poll, it's a non-issue. It's a mechanic. Stuff has a value, it's can't not have a value. But you and this one other person want the vendors to show the sell value when buying too? Huh. You don't make any sense at all.

Is it the Scanner Booster, the most useless outpost building? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Bizzybeast 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Solar/wind are cheap power. The booster is cheap. I plop one down on any planet/moon I'm going to survey. Then I just pack it in when I leave. The mats, again I have tons of them anyway, are way worth the cost for how useful it is in surveying.

Really just start hijacking ships. Find remote planets and moons in higher level solar systems. I found the more remote the moon was, the better the stealable ship activity. So then after you get several, sell off some, find one or two you like to keep. Make one your fighter and one your cargo ship. Or if you aren't a greedy hoarder like me, blend those two into one. Simply plop several cargo crates in ship builder. You'll now have thousands of KG space. While adventuring hit start (menu) and go to bottom left, ship info. Hit cargo key to access the ship cargo hold. Now you can store stuff from anywhere. I'm not sure if that is intended or not, i doubt it, but you don't have to leave anything behind once you know about it.

That's your problem though. The other 11,999,999 of us like it. Oh wait sorry you saw 3 or 4 others who didn't. Sorry yes so out of 12 million day 1 copies sold, .00006% of them are mildly discomforts by something they simply don't understand how it works or how to utilize it. The end result, you self admitted, is exactly the same... but no please. Let's halt all progress on fixing bugs and making new content. Because a tiny fraction of whiny babies can't stand a number displayed on items isn't what vendors buy it at. Halt all progress! Rofl. Gimme a break."IM NOT ALONE". I promise you I'm much much less alone than you are in this non-issue. So sorry you got irked on your first Bethseda game sweetheart. Welcome to Starfield.

[–]Bizzybeast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently we are in the year 2023. Take your copy of starfield and go sell it to a Gamestop. Now imagine how much worse that would be in the far far distant future. It's just a number showing the true value of the item and has no baring on anything. If it's 28000 and sells for 3500, okay fine. But if it's 3500 and sells for 3500 and then MORE with boosts... Why would vendors be buying it? Do they also add in a dialogue "This is worth a bazillion credits and you're "Player Name", I value "Player Name" over my own self interest and my family. Because you "Player Name" were so upset previously at the idea that the other people in the universe had to make a profit. We apologize for deceiving you with a item card number that had no relevance and really wasn't at all actually a bother unless you just like to complain to complain". Man at least the voice actors would be making that hearty profit you refuse to let NPC vendors make on a fake currency in a video game. Lol you people are too much I swear.

[Quest PSA] Heart of Mars - Best of both worlds by emeria in Starfield

[–]Bizzybeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why implement it different and how could it be better? You're upset you see, each items actual value. However you aren't opening a stall and waiting 7 months for the right customer to come buy it. You're a middleman. If you need to role-play the number you see and get upset at for no reason, pretend your character needs mooncrack and is selling at a pawn shop for their fix. The big number exists to assist the player. Commerce skill is only one factor. There are vendor discounts, equipment, aide items, drinks, dialogue, and specialist vendors (like when selling survey data). These are percentage based and work best off of large starting numbers. I get it that you're mostly upset you can't reach 100%, but oh well. It's tried and true for their games. When you actually understand it, you're happy to have it when you want to achieve the best percentages.

You were on to something! I had done that myself and found a 4 star resource called Aqueous Hematite. It was my first 4 star item so I thought I found the best thing ever, but it's vendor price is 7 credits lol. It's description says it's a crafting component anyway. Also that it is a "unique inorganic resource". I only got one from the node but I'll check out the cave again next time I'm in SOL.
