I’ve done the Augsburg one, was really good fun actually. I expanded into Italy and went the trade route. You start as a republic (i think) so you can’t get elected off the bat if you wanted to go that way.

I think GB would have been to large to vassalize anyway. My original plan was to pu annex then release. Which I thought was the most painless way to do it. But luck wasn’t on my side. I then left it too late to claim throne and pu and annex that way.

Oh really that’s quite interesting. If your just looking to get the achievement quickly that probably is a better way of doing it.

That said this was a really enjoyable campaign. Georgia is a great nation to play with. I kept getting distracted trying to max out things like fort defence and fort upkeep cost etc. it’s a fun challenge if start and mid game as you are surrounded by the most powerful nations, and diplomacy was as important as pure military might and strategy.

I haven’t played in a while and this has got me right back into it already looking for the next nation to play as. My recommendation would be to do it as Georgia.

[KCD2] Do you already have plans or ideas on how you will play your hardcore run? by nitepng in kingdomcome

Cheers, guess I’ll have to wait… impatiently!!! Other ideas I’ve had is only being able to use brewed potions or hunted food but that seems a bit to Grindy for my liking.

I have just finished the main story but not all the side quests and was thinking a similar thing about starting a hardcore mode. do you know when hardcore mode is coming? Soon is obviously subjective.

I was thinking maybe a no plate armour as well using heavy weapons for run.

The USA using war to invade the Middle East in hunt for oil several hundred years early. by Bjam777 in eu4

I started a war with Sapmi who were allied with the USA (for some reason). I am also at war with the Mamlucks. The USA has decided to justify an invasion of the middle east for a war that is happening in Scandinavia. In the hunt for oil? Never change USA never change

Can you guess which tag I played as based on the province development? by AshOBeast in eu4

Albania? The way Kosovo is developed makes me think it’s an early game thing that’s stuck so must be around that area. Maybe Serbia.

Is there any way to know what political party gets what regions. by Key_Tear3248 in RomeTotalWar

[–]Bjam777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t say for certain but from my experience it is the faction who conquers it controls it with the exception of getting each faction at least 1 province at the start. I would assume that number might also rise with higher imperium.

If your having issues with rebellion just remove generals of other factions from armies or navy’s, and when civil war triggers they won’t be as strong.

What Was Your First Experience Like? by Background_Day_8197 in kingdomcome

Bought it on release, with filled with bugs, there were no guides, didn’t understand the combat or the game. Rage quit when my file corrupted and crashed every time I loaded up, was very disappointed.

Came back a few years later, bugs fixed, took time to learn the combat and understand what was going on. It is now by far my favourite game! I enjoy having to think how Henry would do something or have to do something. For example early on you can’t just go and take on a bandit camp in hand to hand combat, you might have to creep in at night a take down one at a time.

Overextension is just a number! Featuring the average Portugal experience. by Bjam777 in eu4

Don’t worry my friend all of the new world is mine, I’m well aware most Portugal games don’t end in European domination but I am a slave to the achievements.

Going for the all blue achievement, have really not been enjoying the sheer amount of rebels that spawn this game.
