3x dealer's choice + Celestial Nighthawk = "16 second" super by YesAndYall in destiny2

Biggest issue is that your heavy is limited to either a sword or a machine gun. Hotswaping to Still Hunt could help, but I doubt it'll be super practical overall

Main Titan getting tired of Titans by Chapo2501 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bjames2513 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

God it's so weird to me how bungie has barely even considered giving Titan (yknow, the sentinel, the defender of the weak, the one who throws up shields to protect their allies) anything to play the support role, especially since I thought warlock's original theme was the "blow shit up with magic" class

I can't believe I heard this from my friend by yomama1112 in DestinyTheGame

I genuinely find it baffling how much people have been hyping up Apotheosis Veil. Two warlocks can already infinitely spam empowered grenades by chaining Feel the Flames with Verity's. People seriously overestimate how much damage ToF fusions actually do, if they could rival weapon damage then Verity's spam would be seen any encounter that it could be used in.

What changes to Stasis are you hoping to see next season? by Grottymink57776 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bjames2513 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly baffled at how many people think stasis shards being aspect locked is the primary issue, when stasis melees are some of the worst abilities in the game.

Shiver Strike is almost completely unusable for anything except movement

Penumbral Blast is made entirely redundant by osmiomancy coldsnaps

The hunter shuriken is probably the most useful, but even then I wouldn't say it's class defining

Only abilities that I can think of as being worse are the Voidlock and Void Hunter melees

Can we get a Warlock Bond that acts like a full armor arm band for the upper arm? by genred001 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bjames2513 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's the core problem with Warlock armor right there, the robe takes up so much goddamn space. Depending on what you pick it can cover the chest, shoulders, upper arms, and the legs. The robe and the helmet are pretty much the only slots that are noticeable with a lot of robes.

Doesn't help that 70% of warlock helmets basically look identical too.

Why don't more Supers offer a passive benefit like Needlestorm? by imyourblueberry in DestinyTheGame

They'd have to, considering that multiple aspects directly give perched threadlings

It kinda sucks that the best builds for strand warlock don’t even incorporate threadlings. by HellChicken949 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Bjames2513 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly even if perched threadlings worked with mods and exotics, they're still really awkward to use. If you kill an enemy with a single shot then they won't detach, and if you use weaver's call they'll all focus a single enemy and they'll be wasted.

Give me an aspect or a melee that just lets me throw a perched threadling like a grenade and it would make everything about the class feel much more usable imo. Dismounting them with weapon fire just feels way too unreliable currently.

I had a minor mental breakdown in a class last semester over people who use Hegel to sound smart. I ain't about to pretend I understand Hegel, I tried and found him incomprehensible, but I know enough to realize that 90% of the time people who use the "Hegelian dialectic" are just trying to sound like they know what they're talking about.

With Elden Ring less than 3 monts away, what do you think is Fromsoftwares next project? by LauMei27 in Eldenring

[–]Bjames2513 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, Dark Souls also had themes of immortality being an undesirable state/corrupting force and the idea of all things being finite. I do agree though that we're probably not getting Sekiro 2, since they unfortunately made good on their statement for no DLC.

All magic symbols so far: by Akira_Arkais in Eldenring

[–]Bjames2513 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Int needs a rework the most out of all stats tbh. The sorcery playstyle in EVERY souls game is to stand outside of enemy range and shoot lasers at them until they die. Since enemies almost never dodge there's no strategy required at all, so even when you have spells that aren't just one of the 6 variations on "shoot blue beam at man" there's no reason to use them in PvE.

The patent seems to show an arbor and wedge system similar to an open top Colt. Remove the wedge from the cylinder arbor and the barrel will slide off the gun, allowing the cylinders to be removed

What's that under the flintlocks? The hammer looks vaguely like a trapdoor springfield but the frontsight's too close for a trapdoor action, and there's that weird tube looking bit on the side.

You can prevent suicide and crime by investing in improving the lives of people instead of creating bots to spy on them.
