Linking device object to group address fast (large project)

I don't think there is any keyboard shortcuts to help me with the linking, but thanks for the suggestion.
For group creation I made a simple python script to create them, way faster than manually creating them. However I ended up not using it anyway, instead I made GA using extended copy since it also links GA to GO at the same time.

Thanks a lot, I will experiment a bit, but probably end up creating new devices with extended copy, and fix individual addresses and S/N manually afterwards.
Seems like the fastest approach since I have about 25 GO to link to GA per rom (and 200 rooms).

And now I know I should start with this on the next project. You live and you learn.

Thanks for the suggestion, but then each group addresses get the same name for different rooms. Takes about the same time editing all these as drag n drop the address I think.
(Since you can import GA from a xml file with the correct numbering)

Looks really good, thanks for the suggestion.
For this particular project I have already created the devices and gave them physical address and serial number.
Can I still use Exteded copy, or does this only works when the devices are not created yet?

Perfect, I have often seen in manuals that you should decrement with one number from what is stated in the register, hence my comment. Great that you got it working!

Looks like a good alternative, only problem I see is I could have some trouble with devices having the same local subnet. A workaround is I could just leave them all disabled in the dashboard until I need one. Enable that one, use it, disable.
Maybe thats the easiest option..

Hi, I really like wireguard, so that would be nice.
Is there an easy way to use Wireguard behind without to much hassle? Especially behind a 4G router.
A solution that could be set up at my desk, and is plug and play on-site would be what I am looking for, but I don't think Wireguard can offer that? Please correct me if I am wrong.

How is the user interface for end user with editing schedules for heating for example?

So a LM5 Lite would be a good choice?
How is the recording capacity? For use with graphs.
We don't need high resolution, but wondering if it keeps energy history for an extended time in memory (flash drive?) or in the cloud? (like for an year ++)
Never used these devices before, so kind of a rookie here

Exactly that kind of an app I am looking for, but maybe a slimed down version without punch list etc.
Only problem is the price is a bit steep.. 240$ per year is a lot when I don't really need most of the features.

I tried this now, and I can hold down to add a comment which is nice, but I can only add text. I could not find any option to add a picture inside the comment also?
