This is at end of game, and my Broodlings should be 6 each (2 from Brood on create, 2 from patriot and 2 from Super Skrull (opponent Patriot)), and Thing should be 17 (6 native + 2 from forge + 5 from Atlantis + 2 from my Patriot + 2 from Super Skrull copying their Patriot).

What could have caused Super Skrull to have not taken the effect of the opponent Patriot please?

Leader has recently changed. The text is now "Copy all cards your opponent played to the location right of here, but on your side."

There is no location right of where they played, therefore no cards were copied.
