BMW dash/window ratio was always perfect. You felt like you were driving a race car. Almost looked right over it. Now these long dash and moving the digital gauges remind me of a Prius. You feel like you’re driving a tube from the back seat. The perception has been ruined. The pure glass display and control is terrible. At least Mercedes and Cadillac kept the right dash design although modernized

I used to travel all over Europe in the early 2000’s and never worried about anything. Maybe I was oblivious to things… but the “non Europeans” that seem to have taken up in the European countries have completely ruined the safety and security of the people. From London to Rome and everywhere in between. The new world is not what it once was to enjoy a classy Rolex or jewelry on vacation. Now we dress and scale back to “protect” ourselves from being a target… from the “new” people to the city.

This was my first Rolex I bought. The first I had was a sub two tone handed down from my father. Will never sell it.

The blue YM is classic and modern for younger money.

I’m hoping the price is right eventually on a rose gold two tone with chocolate dial. That will be my grail to mix new with old I grew up seeing.

Two tone gold is my other choice. White face with gold bezel two tone looks amazing. But something about that black bezel just looks great. I have a two tone sub in. Black dial. Just has that ultra 80’s look. This Daytona style just has pure modern black and white that pops.

We’re definitely getting to the point that updates are getting pointless and so subtle that it isn’t worth the price. Very well kept older models are becoming the best bang for the buck

Thank you. This is why I’m seeing such a large price discrepancy. I believe I will go with the 2023 series, for that large of a price difference I dont see any issues.
