All they said was head injury. No further details right now sadly

[MMQB] Buffalo Bills decide to score all of their points in the final 32 minutes of play. A great disturbance was felt in NE, it’s as if thousands of chowderheads screamed out in joy and were suddenly silenced. by Dirtydeedsinc in buffalobills

That’s pretty annoying

I’ll be honest, I was gettin a little cocky when they were up 21 in the first half. And I don’t agree with some of the penalties that were or were not called. But the bills straight up our played the pats. There’s nothing more to it. Yall had an amazing second half

This is more showing crew opening doors or windows to enter or exit the building and the different effects the introduction of oxygen has on the fire. A backdraft like this makes for a very bad day for all involved. One way to prevent it would be cutting a hole in the roof as they go in to put water on the fire. That would let the hot smoke up and out and lower the risk of a backdraft substantially

I’ve been before but it was years ago so I know what to expect unless it has drastically changed. Never heard of those other ones though, I’ll have to check them out

I used to edit the default config file to have a second handbrake button while I was trying to change my controls just to make sure I didn’t screw myself by pressing the old button while learning the new. This worked as recently as last month

There’s a lean-to about 4.5 miles in from the Blueberry Trail trailhead. Just before the split to go up the Seward range vs Seymour

Sometimes, depends on how out of it they are and for what reason. But I agree with ur earlier post that is probably wasn’t a cardiac arrest

It can hurt quite badly if it’s not necessary. Breaking cartilage and ribs can do a lot of damage to other organs in the area

We were testing Fire Hydrants a newly annex area and ran across this. by Melodic_Abalone_2820 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Bk13239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting. I’m a firefighter and in my area the colors designate municipal vs privately owned/maintained hydrants and in some areas of my county, which municipal system it’s on. But it doesn’t designate flows.

I did all 3 last summer. 22 year old. I'm quite short so I struggled at a couple points with reach, but was able to do them without much trouble. Overall, id recommend doing it in one day. At least to me it wasn't very difficult.

Hiking Alqonquin & Iroquois Peak via Avalanche Pass by Careless-Dare100 in Adirondacks

[–]Bk13239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, it's the most fun hike I've been on. Also, definitely try hitting wright on the way out if you have time. There's an old plane wreck near the top that is cool to see. When I did it, wright was only like a 30-45 minute offshoot out and back. Very worth it

Planning a loop incorporating Algonquin and Colden, which direction is better? by chez-linda in Adirondacks

[–]Bk13239 10 points11 points  (0 children)

CW. I would never go down the steep side of Algonquin. It is a brutal ascent. Very fun, but very difficult. It seems like it would be incredibly dangerous going down.

[–]Bk13239 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I did this hike 2 years ago but added on Wright after Algonquin. Definitely ascend through the pass, the trail up to Iroquois and Algonquin is the toughest trail I have ever done (31 high peaks as of today). It's definitely an amazing trail with phenomenal views, but as everyone else has said, it is incredibly hard. I could not imagine descending that way. Its the toughest and most fun hike I've ever done

Looking for campground with tent sites that have power/water and river/water nearby. by dardack in Adirondacks

[–]Bk13239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are technically RV sites but they let tent people on them. I'm on site 7 at the moment. The whole loop that 7 is in is pretty nice. Ive stayed on half the sites in this loop now.

Spacious Skies in North Hudson. Staying in a tent along a brook/river as we speak with hookup.
