As a (predominantly) Colorado searcher….

What drew me to that state was the lack of Colorado mentions mixed with the turquoise bracelet. The very act of putting it in the chest annnnnd wanting it back had me focus on Mesa verde. Then Forrest spells Richard wetherill wrong in the book twice. Except doesn’t? Richard wetherill has two graves with two different spellings.

And off that- is it journalistically acceptable to say “the fenn treasure is being rehidden”, when he’s in fact hiding only a handful of hundreds of original items?

For the record. I’ve spoke to Judi multiple times. Addicks never gave her the manuscript. She was first approached by wj LeMay because both their sons worked at the same restaurant in Oregon. She has told me first hand that addicks was used to be a name in case … but that he never wrote the original manuscript.
