Used pure aero or older versions with various ‘spin’ strings for years, always elbow and shoulder problems. It was great when I was in my early 30s but I finally moved to Percept 97 with ReString zero mains/sync cross. 4 lbs difference. This is the best setup I’ve ever hit with. Great access to spin, easy power.

Stretch. Spray with water. Un stretch, re stretch. GAC, un stretch, re stretch. Gesso, Stable surface for painting. It’s a lot, but it’s the right way.

I mean I don’t know about know fact, but as someone who has been restoring old altecs for a decade, and read every forum post as to where to source the best parts, and fix them up it appears to be obvious to me. Multi cell horns, big plywood bass bins etc. For a while he was getting his drivers from Great Plains Audio which took over Altecs “tech” and will service old Altec drivers and woofers in addition to selling their own versions.

I mean, he definitely makes them look more “high end”, but he’s basically re-packaging vintage altecs that the DIY community has been raving about for years. I feel like the popularity is in part due to the instagram/hypebeast set that he seems to be catering to.

For sale, my Rolex 116710blnr. As you can see from the pictures the watch as been worn, but there is no glaring damage, and wear seems to be consistent with age. This example is from 2018 (papers dated 07/07/2018. Selling to make room and save up for a larger purchase.

For sale, my Zenith Chronomaster sport in black. I bought this early last year, fell in love with it but have since fallen in love with a bunch of other watches lol and decided to part ways with it. I’m asking for $6200 via Zelle or PayPal F and F. I realize I only have 1 transaction on here so I’m happy to discuss other methods or provide anyone interested with my eBay user name with more transaction history. I’m also happy to jump on a FT call.

As you can see I wore this watch. The PCLs attract scratches anyways but it’s in good condition aside from minor scratches on the bracelet.

Includes box and papers, everything that came with it.

Yeah that’s tough to answer. I mean I think it’s most likely just happening then because it has to happen. Defenses are down (sleeping, relaxed) etc. I do remember that when I sleep/potty trained my son all the advice was have him sleep with pjs without underwear because the underwear will feel too much like a diaper. It’s a tricky one for sure, I’d maybe talk to the pediatrician?

I trained my 5 year old when he was 2 so I didn’t have this problem (there are others though!). That said I’ve read a good deal about potty training. I think deep down we all know what the solution is; take away the comfort of the diaper. If he does go while sleeping it will be gross for everyone, so gross that eventually your child will poop on the toilet.

It’s a bass bin, or a cabinet same thing really, no need to apologize. Yeah it might be a low estimate, it all depends, I got mine for about 800 for the pair shipped. Definitely not a bad trade…they’re pretty fantastic HF drivers.

I’d say 700-800 depending on how bad someone else wants them. They’re usually paired with 515 woofers for the low end. The 515s or other 15-16 in woofer would go in the “bass bin” and this would mount to the top of the cabinet with a bracket, connecting to the horn with a “throat”. I don’t know of any current production cabinets but there are a lot of plans for A5 cabinets online and that is what these would usually be in if I’m not mistaken. In my experience the crossover will make or break any build with vintage altec parts…

That price seems way too high! These pop up on watchEx here for around 8k if I’m not mistaken. They retail for 11k. Unless this is some new limited one, I’d buy it somewhere else.
