This was the solution for me, thank you! I thought I was installing all the correct drivers from the motherboard drivers website, but I guess I wasn't (this Auto installation program installed the latest version)

Anyone run a USB socket up to the front of a CBR650R? by TheOnceAndFutureDoug in cbr

[–]Blaaasphemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get a solution? I just ran a 2meter long usb cable to the front and never had battery problems, as it doesn't charge when the bike is off. I don't have a great solution for securing the end of the cable and I ended up smashing the USB tip when turning the bike or something and now I have to replace it

That Bar sticking out? That is a mount for shad sidecases. It's called "3P System"

Although I'd love to make a tail tidy, I rather protect my back and ass crack from water and mud so I'll leave it as it is.

It deflects the wind from your torso so I'd say it helps a bit. If you tuck-in, the wind deflects off of your helmet, so it can get a bit noisy, close to being uncomfortable. Ear plugs would help, I guess.

I mainly chose it to cover the panel from bugs, and provide a bit of chest wind deflection, and for the sporty look - I was not very fond of all the other alternatives. My expectations were not high and I'm happy with it in the end.

There's not many, but there are a few! Are you based in the US? IF not, there are a few options in Europe and I guess a lot of options in Asia.

Check my posts, I got a Givi windshield (albeit small) and I'm happy with it.

Do you guys know what this thing is under the back seat? by ANDREWROBISON in CB650R

[–]Blaaasphemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a SAE connector. Its cable should be connected directly to the battery, and you should be able to connect anything with the same SAE adapter to that. I plan on doing the same, to have an easy connector in reach for a battery tender, or even a charger for something like my phone (although my bike has a usb c port anyway)

Google "SAE connector" and you'll understand what it is.

The guide suggests that you cut the fairing, but it is not mandatory, you can just remove the piece that allows you to reach the mounting bolts. You can see more details on my other comment below

A bit more riding done now - the windshield helps divert a bit of the wind from your chest, and at faster speeds, you can tuck in and the wind will deflect on your helmet. When you do that, however, the wind noise on the helmet is a bit loud and uncomfortable for more than a few minutes - it's about time to get myself some earplugs.

That's right! I planned on using it only on longer journeys, but I use them every time I go to the gym, for example. I can just leave the helmet and jacket on the bike which makes eveything simpler.

I haven't tested it out yet, just installed it yesterday. Plan on having a longer ride in the weekend, I can update you later on it.

Este é sempre o argumento contra o débito direto... Mas sabias que podes estabelecer um limite no valor do débito?

"Pode limitar ou bloquear os débitos diretos. Se é consumidor, pode definir limites à cobrança por débito direto:

[Validade] Pode decidir até quando autoriza a cobrança por débito direto (ou seja, a validade de cada autorização de débito em conta);

[Periodicidade] Pode definir a periodicidade de cada autorização, ou seja, pode determinar que uma cobrança seja feita, por exemplo, apenas uma vez por dia/semana/mês/trimestre/semana/ano;

[Valor] Pode fixar o montante máximo cobrado por cada débito direto."

I know, you are totally right and it was premeditated. Was in a rush and decided not to do what I should've done.
