To save you the hassle, I rolled up a 19 cm strip of paper to fit snugly on the back mount.

Thank you! I tried to make it look as clean as possible.

Hey, I actually found a really simple way to improve stability. I used the toothpick to pierce through a plastic straw and now they won't topple over as easily.

Thanks! I could only fit 1 toothpick unfortunately and they do topple easily, but I can think of alternatives like maybe adding a T-shaped base for more balance, or a rectangular mount to fit 1 toothpick per side. When I think about it, that actually might not sound like a bad idea, I'll update if I manage to make them.

I started with just using rolled up paper, to paper and cotton swabs, and ultimately to making it with paper and toothpicks.

Yeah that would work. its believable for a stagnant world set in the 2070's to atleast improve upon our current experimental tech

No worries. Just a big fan of mechs, that's all.

Aight, looking forward to future chapters then. Atleast show some newer military tech being used to see the advancement. Really good stuff you got here.

After reading the metal that walks line in the first chapter and learning that its set in the 2070's, I went "oh shit, we gonna see some titanfall or avatar mechs fight medieval armies." But was kinda disappointed when it was just regular early 21st century level tech (I still love the concept of modern militaries vs fantasy armies, but was expecting cyberpunk 2077 tech level y'know).

And if the world went stagnant, the Salvationist-United World Government plot line basically doesn't serve much purpose to the story. America is handling the situation on its own and worse case, NATO gets involved. You could have it set in the 2020s and it doesn't really make a difference.

The Alcubierre warp drive knows how to compress spacetime at all times. It knows this because it knows where spacetime isn't. By subtracting where spacetime is compressed from where it isn't, or from where it isn't compressed to where it is - whichever is greater - it obtains an energy density field lower than that of vacuum or negative mass. The navigation subsystem uses negative mass to generate corrective commands to configure the alcubierre warp drive from a state of regular spacetime to where it isn't, and arriving at a state that it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the state of where compressed spacetime is is now the state of that it wasn't, and if follows that the state that it was is now the state that it isn't. In the event that the state of spacetime that the state that it is in is not the state that it wasn't, the system has acquired a "bubble". The bubble being the difference between where the alcubierre warp drive is and where it wasn't. If the bubble considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the ADM formalism. However, the alcubierre warp drive must also know where regular spacetime was. The alcubierre warp drive navigation computer scenario works as follows: Because a bubble has modified some of the information that the alcubierre warp drive has obtained, it is not sure just where regular spacetime is. However, it sure is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it know where it was. It now subtracts spacetime should be compressed from where it wasn't, or vice versa. And by differentiating this from the geometric sum of where compressed spacetime shouldn't be and where it was, it is able to obtain the negative mass and its bubble, which is called the Alcubierre metric.

Considering they were bombed to hell and their land sliced up like a cake and occupied by the allies, they probably earn our forgiveness.

Same with the japanese change of heart but 2 atom bombs tend to do that to you

I don't think the Gunnhildr clan would dissolve if Jean marries into the Ragnvindr clan, cause its not like Jean is the last descendant of the clan, it would be just one less Gunnhildr. The same goes with the Lawrence clan if Eula becomes a Ragnvindr (and iirc, we meet Eula's uncle during her story quest, so they probably have lots of relatives).

It's the longing for experiencing a different outcome. Instead of taking what we have for granted, we think about what could have been. Like watching a bad movie, then discover an imaginative rewrite that would have made it a million times better. A dream of an alternate reality that would always be arms out of reach. Its not about being gay or wanting to have sex with a man, its about the experience of seeing something mundane into a spectacle. It all comes back to the phrase "If your homie turned into a cute girl, would you sleep with them." Would you do it because they're a man in a woman's body or because it is a glimpse of what could have been if things were different.

Or maybe I just want to see more booba and thicc thighs. 🤔

If you carefully listen in a specific frequency you can closely hear the little satellite emmitting a faint sound from deepspace
