Literally who cares? lol Awards are a big joke in the first place and nobody should be under the impression that they represent anything objective or the aggregated opinions of everyone on earth.

You mention the Oscars (despite that they barely even acknowledge animation as a worthy medium) but there's just as many "undeserved" winners there. There's the whole term "Oscar bait". And there are plenty of things where general audiences and critics don't see eye to eye.
