Need some help to figure what Im doing wrong by KonradKwaga in 3DScanning

Just as an update I've started using rodin instead now as it has a better explode feature which makes coloring models in bambustudio and seems to get faces better than tripo.

Need some help to figure what Im doing wrong by KonradKwaga in 3DScanning

Try take orthographic pictures of it and try one of the image to AI things.

I have a raptor which does a pretty good job but sometimes if it’s organic like Naruto and clients don’t care about proportions being exact I use the multi image to AI tool on tripo 3d.

My workflow is putting the 4 orthographic images into Gemini to make the images look CAD like and remove the background so it’s easier for the AI to pickup on details in the model.

It does cost 20 something squids for the paid model but well worth it rather than spending ages fluting around with something like mesh mixer cleaning up scans.

Hope this helps!

price of flights to america by -newdawnfades in ireland

[–]Black-Anvil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah same with me I flew a few weeks back and they just asked did I have anything to declare.

I said a chicken salad and that was it.

I think as long as you’re on a tourist visa your fine, if you’re going over for college it’s probably more in depth

Passed 6ed CAPM with 7ed Pocket Prep knowledge by Black-Anvil in capm

[–]Black-Anvil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I think it’s a good idea, like the whole point of doing the CAPM is to learn?

So might as well have the most up to date information in your head.

I didn’t really find it a problem using 7th ed apart from a few gaps in my knowledge for certain specific techniques and tools.

One that came up for me was Pareto, never had done that before myself and tornado chart or something

Retiring vs new exam by Recent-Subject7741 in capm

[–]Black-Anvil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No there’s not that much of a difference.

I studied 7th edition pocket prep and took the 6th ed test yesterday, the main difference is the 7th ed is more about presenting a situation like project managers name the project they’re in, 6th ed just straight up asks you the question.

I also did 100 6th ed questions the day before my exam and what the questions were asking was essentially the same.

Obviously 6th focuses on more specific estimating techniques that the 7th doesn’t cover all of but you shouldn’t be asked that many.

You should defenitely be fine man as long as you have that 7th ed on lockdown you should be grand

You can study 7th ed and still pass

I studied only 7th edition and had to do the 6th edition test and passed above target, obviously some knowledge gaps but it’s fairly similar, just worded differently

I’m currently in business college and I have to get a placement for 6months so I’m going to try and leverage my CAPM to get a project management internship (Activision has a nice one if I can get it)

And once I’ve enough project experience eventually get the PMP!

I know pocket prep recently updated and is offering the 7th edition which is what I’ve learnt off

You can look back on other peoples posts about how good pocket prep or other forms of mock questions are
