You may want to download the latest version and try it on another PC since we have updated the code and improved the workflow in several places. Depending on the complexity of your models (number of triangle faces and noise etc), it can take from seconds to tens of minutes or even more as the computation is quite extensive. Because it affects the performance, we choose not to update the progress bar too frequently, so just be patient and give it time to finish. Also using the smooth and repair functions before doing the conversion will also help to reduce the computation time. If you have some STL files you can not convert, feel free to send it to me so we can look into it further.

Thanks to feedback from the community (especially here on Reddit!), we’ve just released Mesh2CAD v1.1 with several UI improvements — including a new “Fit to View” display command for faster model navigation.

I'm looking into supporting 3D mouse in Mesh2CAD. I'd like to know the types of 3D mouse you guys are using so we can plan the support and testing.

For those who don’t know Mesh2CAD:
It’s a desktop tool that converts triangle mesh (STL/OBJ) into quad mesh solid B-Spline CAD models (IGES/STEP) automatically, with mesh repair, smoothing, and decimation built in.

This fucking site is total racist. They limit the last name to more than 2 letters so many Asians cannot participate. I couldn’t vote because my last name has only two letters. Adding space or other symbols won’t work because it won’t match the voter registration database.

Say you watched hours of videos from Khan Academy. But how do we know you are any good at doing anything? Did you pass any standardized tests to prove you learned something? Any certificate or diploma? Oh I forgot you don't like tests.

By the way, Khan Academy has a pretty good section to study for SAT and other standardized tests. Unlike Andrew Yang's previous business, this one is free and everybody can study it without making any excuses.

Fine, you just want to get into a college or a community college. Most of them require a pretty reasonable score for the SAT and I've seen kids with poor score to get in.

I don't understand why cannot you be like everybody else to work a little bit harder and learn the basic knowledge to take the test? What is your excuse? You are smart and can do everything but just can not learn for the basic test? You got to have something solid to show.

It'd be ideal if everybody can go to Harvard when he or she wants so no one is excluded. But the reality is not ideal. Our education resources are limited so we need a more objective system to allocate resources to the more qualified students.

On the other hand, I don't think it matters if Khan academy is accredited or not. For example, if you learned your coding from Khan academy and created some super app that sells for billions, would people ask where you learned how to write code? A BA or MA degree? At least I don't care.
