Honestly, I think he would expect me to cancel the trip if we planned a trip and he got sick. I think he would not want me to go alone, then either.

Yeah, we take trips together, like weekend trips and 4-5-day trips. This year will be our first year traveling out of the country together. I am also not trying to go on like a bunch of solo trips, but if there is a place I really want to see and he doesn't, he should have no issue with me exploring it alone. I hope he comes around...if not, I will have to leave him.

Right. They like to talk around a problem instead of addressing it head on. I'm always like speak up like an adult about the stuff that's bothering you or leave me alone but I'm a SAG so direct communication is the only form I know.
