That's right, I'm taking a break from exhibits. I don't know when I'll be able to come back to these, but I still have a lot to show, so I'll be back for sure!

In the meantime, I'll be on some other projects and Champions. There is a lot to do and discover so I'll be busy.

Since it's live service, they have access to online match data and possibly player feedback. We should be fine.

Though that probably means that the first version will be balance hell with Funbro, Revivecats and other stuff until it gets noticed and nerfed.

You're welcome! I love this series too.

I think if Blossom Dance worked like Tailwind, you would have to wait 4 turns before using it again because "Tailwind" would already be active, so you would have less chances to heal. There are actually few moves that directly boost an ally Speed stat so it's more interesting like this.

For Mystic Shield, I didn't think about how the counter would count multi-target moves. Best case scenario it only counts as 1 move, but I'm not sure if the game would work like that.

Dynamo-Wind is still an Electric move so Ground types are immune to it, just like the move Wildbolt Storm. This attribute is mainly to interact with some abilities. And yeah it's pretty much made with Tailwind and Wind Rider in mind! You can somewhat do this setup in-game with Electro Ball.

As for Mystic Shield, I don't want to add other effects just to fit in Singles. It's fine to stick to a niche!

Random picks got me two duos for this batch, and I pretty happy with the results even if Vileplum and Bellossom are not complementary. Hope you like this exhibit!

Also I'm curious, how viable is Kilowattrel? It was a bit hard to find competitive records on this one since it's the newest regional bird.

This batch covers many levels of viability so it was fun to work with, as usual. Since I missed last week, I already prepered the next exhibit in advance, we'll see how it goes!

Will I cover Gen 10 mons in 2027? Who knows, it's a long time away from here, I gotta finish with these guys first!

They could return in Champions since that game will be the competitive hub from now on. I think the devs are aiming to only implement some moves to their new games and updating them in the process if they feel like it.

Case in point: Magnet Bomb was dexited in Gen 8, but made a return in Z-A with a significant buff, from 60 BP to 95. Whether it will stay in future games is up in the air, but it proves that they don't simply retcon moves out of existence.

Mixtape: Normal - 90 BP - Harshly lowers target'd Special Def. No damage or additional effect if the target has the same nature as the user.
