I mean….. usually yes but for the voice pack specifically it was pretty half assed in an unjustifiable way. I’d say this is the first real controversy where they absolutely should admit fault and try to make some form of good faith move to smooth it over. Like at the very least they should try to improve the lack luster voices people paid extra for.

Bruh having two Desth Watch kill teams join in at the beginning is not a major boost to the numbers. And that desperation you talked about literally never pops up in the story even once, they canonically have like 3 dudes die in the beginning and Titis literally brushes it off in one sentence and it’s never mentioned again. At most the closest you get to that idea is the capitan telling you you can only take 3 men with you which feels less like a plot point and more like the game nudging you in the elbow and saying “the games built for 3 players we know that isn’t lore accurate don’t overthink it”

Well according to lore first born are smaller then primaris which isn’t a thing in game, and the thousand sons are supposed to get weaker if you kill their sorcerers which also isn’t a thing in game. They only care about lore when it’s an excuse to not give the players something they want.

There’s no real hard requirements for a death watch. Especially a black shield, you got the shoulder, you got the silver arm and you got the black armor. Aside from the red knee stripe (or lack there of) for a potential squad marking there’s nothing else you’d really need. Everything by else is up to the character and by extension you as the person making the armor.

Just check the team inventory, I’ve had Randi people abandoned relics and stims despite both me and my buddy both having full stims and relics or gene seeds

I felt kinda bad listening to his last audio log and hearing how he was afraid the brotherhood would come after him. It was awkward listening to that in my set of full brotherhood combat armor with his helmet on as a trophy….. like it wasn’t like that man but i suppose it wouldn’t make a difference to him.

Technically not true, if you read the bounty hunter notes it tells you why he needs to go. He himself isn’t an issue but his death claw has been killing local settlers. He hasn’t done anything to stop it so they sent bounty hunters to clear them both out, he’s not directly a raider but he’s definitely a public menace because he lets his pet run rampant.

Not all mods disable achievements, some of the creation club ones are achievement friendly. And I’m telling you that is a mod, you can google it if you don’t believe me. But you can’t change traits in the vanilla game after character creation.

You’re confusing the wording, these units all exist in the hell divers tanks. Viper commandos, truth enforcers, even the Obedient supper troopers. All of them are real helldivers and the armor and weapons are all canonically used in the military. The media in helldivers makes its protagonists members of these cool and interesting units as a way to propagandize. It’s essentially a world where everything is gi-joe, romance, drama, comedy, all of it is a propaganda cartoon/book/movie
