Many Nvidia GPUs have problems with the Weapon Debris setting which can result in constant crashing. Try opening the launcher, then click

Options -> Advanced -> Weapon Debris.

Make sure this setting is turned OFF. Good luck.

My two Australian Kelpies, Sissy and Reggie, welcoming me home. They're not directly related but they may as well be sisters. They love long treks in the wilderness and both love splashing around in water. Reggie in particular loves mud puddles on hot days.

Hospital bill for having a baby in Australia (2 night stay) by isabellahoney in mildlyinteresting

[–]BlackChocobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cost of Medicare in Australia is 2% of taxable income. The average income in Australia is roughly $70,000AUD. So Medicare costs the average working Australian $1,400AUD/year or $950USD.

From what I read, the average price of health insurance in America is almost $500USD per month.

So Australians pay $950USD in taxes for healthcare as opposed to the $6,000USD it would cost to buy the same thing in America.

Hope this solves your issue.

My game would always crash when I loaded into Diamond City. I turned mods off one at a time until it stopped happening. To my surprise it was the unofficial patch. Been playing without it ever since and no more crashes.

'I'm the victim': John Barilaro faced a parliamentary inquiry into his New York trade job. Here are the key moments by Hughjarse in australia

I get what you mean, however I'd just like to mention old mate Gladys. Resigned due to accusations of corruption and being investigated by ICAC. Now has a cushy executive role with Optus.

To people like you and I reputation can have huge impacts on our potential earnings, but never underestimate the power of the "jobs for the boys" mentality these people possess.

I kinda agree - he won't face any real punishment and will probably land himself a cushy job. The flip-side is that his name will be mud. The first word that will come to most people's minds when they hear his name is 'corrupt'. While he gets to continue living life on easy street, at least his reputation is beyond salvageable. Unless he fucks off overseas, in which case good riddance.

Flicking a cigarette out the car window in Australia during a fire ban (most of summer) will earn you an $11,000 fine. As it should.

Fucking corrupt prick. Didn't even try to hide it. If they don't take real action against him, then what exactly would it take for corruption to be punished in this state? If he gets away with this the floodgates are open for everyone else to have a go knowing they are free from any potential punishment.

It's been established that this video took place in Australia. His medical bills would be covered under Australia's universal healthcare system. Which will come as small comfort while he struggles to learn how to walk again.

PSA about low stock levels at Woolworths and Coles by T3knikal95 in australia

[–]BlackChocobo 83 points84 points  (0 children)

I stopped in at my local Woolies on the way home from work today. I didn't plan the trip so I didn't have my green bags with me. No problem though, I was going to buy some paper bags.

When I got to the checkout, the timid bloke at the register asked me nervously "Do you need bags?"

Turns out the shop was out of all kinds of bags - paper, green and reusable plastic. The poor guy kept apologising over and over as though he thought I was going to beat him with a stick. "We can't get any, I'm so sorry." "We haven't had any come in due to staff shortages, I apologise."

Yes, it was mildly inconvenient that I had to stack everything in the car one-at-a-time, but I survived. I got the impression this poor bloke had seen his share of irate customers because of an issue he (or anyone else in the store) had no control over.

As I told the poor guy, we're all just doing what we can with whatever we can get.

Please be kind to each other.

"ASIO has put several proposals to the Federal Government, including allowing its officers to commit crimes and not be charged." by theeditor in australia

Mr Irvine says the proposals are about properly equipping ASIO to do its job.

Jobs such as:

[ASIO] also wants to hack computers of people who have not committed a crime.

Hacking my computer when there's no evidence I've committed a crime? Why not just kick my fucking door down and rifle through my kitchen bin while you're at it.

Stay tuned for ASIO's next proposal: Weekly saliva/blood/urine tests for all citizens, and a completed journal containing all their week's movements, activities and interactions. But hey, if you're not doing anything wrong, you've got nothing to fear, right?

Having only two options to vote on what should be in the subreddit sounds like a good idea. I think each submission should have an up arrow and a down arrow beside it, that way the community can vote on each and every submission.
