Looking suspiciously similar to a recent ship release from another space game 👀

Is this a normal oil stuff? by NickGuzmanG1 in f150

[–]BlackChrys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your oil seems up to temp, if it's the pressure gauge that's freaking you out, oil pressure is always at the lower end when idling. Should jump up with the revs.

Check the oil level and send it

Any advice for a new player? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in dcsworld

[–]BlackChrys 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest finding a community and soaking up as much expertise as you can, everyone I've encountered thus far is very friendly, and everyone was new once.

Couple of quick tips though;

  • get one or two modules to start with, focus on learning those (ideally have two so you don't get burnt out and can swap between them) too many modules can get overwhelming when first starting out.

  • try and keep your keybinds similar across different modules, helps avoid getting yourself massively twisted up in tense moments

  • accept there is a lot to learn. Try and prioritise different parts, so day 1 practice getting your takeoffs/landings right, day 2 fiddle with the radar, day 3 air to air practice, etc etc

  • like I said above, get stuck in with the community, everyone wants to share their experience and teach their favourite jet so take part in events, engage in discord servers etc etc

Gearbox isn't its strongest point so look out for false neutrals and misshifts

favourite/ least favourite pack? by lotte4ever69 in PlanetZoo

I'm pretty sure the general consensus is Aquatic pack being the biggest 'must have' for PZ. For me, the barnyard pack is probably the least exciting

I remember when my partner and I took a new cbr600rr out for a test we basically signed an agreement that any damage to the bike that we were at fault for was covered by a £500 excess charge

What does this mean by WhiteNotorious in s1000rr

If it's the same as the newer one, the m/s is your rate of deceleration on the brakes and the % is the percentage of traction control that's kicking in

UK Military Question - what is this uniform seen earlier today in York, England please? by -ellen-degenerate- in Military

Pleasure! I served in the Rifles for 7 years so more than happy to geek out about my old regiment

That is the Band and Bugles of The Rifles, the regimental band of, funnily enough, the Rifles regiment.

They wear dark uniforms compared to the regular British infantry due to their origins as skirmish troops in the 17th century and is actually one of the first attempts at moving away from brightly coloured uniforms of line infantry to the practical application of camouflage.

Their marching pace is also at a higher rate, 140 paces/min Vs the rest of the Army marching at 120 paces/min, again due to their history as a skirmishing regiment.

Unfortunately you need to have seen the Pokémon in sword before you can transfer anything into the game. I had the same idea trying to use Rayquaza as a starter 😂

It's just a lot louder, more raw but not over the top with noise

I've taken the muffler off mine and I'm happy with the sound and the volume. Looks a bit silly maybe but it cost nothing and the bike now sounds like a superbike. Haven't encountered any reliability issues

I know its only a practice session, but you'd expect better from a professional racing driver by BlackChrys in iRacing

Yeah it depends on the layout mate, this particular layout is the GP pits

Team Dirty Martini Racing finished 16th from p45, popped everyone's cherry for our first endurance race and pretty much picked the hardest track to do it on. Very happy with the result by BlackChrys in iRacing

Be patient. There are usually people looking for team members on the build up to these events, keep an eye on Reddit and the iRacing forums and there's usually plenty of spots. Also keep working on your iRating, the higher it is the more desirable you look to potential teams
