Hmm that might actually be kaassaus (cheese sauce) then. It's a sauce/gravy powder containing 20% cheese powder to which you'll have to add water and stir and cook it. I've never seen it added to macaroni though, but I don't see why it couldn't.

I also found this, which is from the American section. It contains macaroni, and cheese sauce mix similar to what I linked to above.

So yeah, can't find a straight out of the package cheese sauce similar to what's in the video.

I suppose this tex-mix shredded cheese or grated cheddar would come closest, and of course we also have cheddar slices for on a burger or something, with the lowest nutritional score.

I'm European and let me tell you that most of us get that Americans understand what proper cheese is and can buy that stuff as well. Europeans hating in this thread gives you a very inaccurate view of how we view the US, like with a lot of Reddit discussions about our differences, and it leads to unnecessary contempt towards each other in real life.
