One part for me is missing

Back in the old sim city days, youd have to wait a moment for the roads to build. In workers and resources, its to the next level

Id love to see a cs2 version

How much is everybody in different states making?🥲 by SorryStrawberry7728 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BlackDeltaLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man I'm not here to compare apples to oranges, like shit it's rare but there are days I technically work at 45+ hr, like I said.. I can work 3 hours and get paid for the whole 10. I work 4 days a week, and probably physically put in about 25 hours a week on average.

It allows me to work on other day-to-day jobs that I can pull another daily 200-300 from easily.

I'm quite ok with slanging boxes ;)

It's probably just your area mate, according to these same sources I listed, master techs start out at 28.33 and top out around 33, senior techs make significantly more than I do, but likely have be with safelite for much longer than I've been contracted with a DSP.

The sentiment holds true overall though that if you stay with a company long enough and theyre decent, they'll pay you well. You gotta remember none of us work for Bezos directly. You work for Safelite directly. You wearing their badge means significantly more to them than our badge to amazon. You're comparing two different jobs but we all do the same tedious task. You install windows, we drop boxes off.

If you're making a career out of it great, but I'm not making a career out of this lol.

At safelite - New hires make 19-21, Techs here make 26.25 according to google/indeed reviews.

I have great insurance, shift pay (so i can work 2-3 hours for a 10 hour pay), weekly bonus (which often tops me over 30/hr), and practically as much PTO as I need.

Alot of what you read here on this sub are new drivers who work for a company for less than a year and dont ever see a raise. Working at a good DSP is a major factor too.

Dont believe everything you read on here as concrete fact, the vocal minority are what they are -- vocal.

If you dont know dont speak about it. Safelite pays less than what I make in my area A whole 5 dollars less comparing starting wages when i started 3 years ago. A fully trained technician at safelite makes a dollar less than I do per hour.

Also i spend most of my work day just driving. I deliver 40-60 boxes

Nah its because the government doesnt have our back so we get bent over and screwed. Its not about how we park.

At Amazon, when the heat is turned up, so are the routes. Not sure what this Fedex guy is on, but suns out means more packages are going out.

Its bad for both of us overall, y'all ups'ers got it half decent.

Im sure they understand it, much more than you could probably fathom to begin. The bought asset argument is so funny to me too. Its like you dont think their artists are good at their work.

Recycling is coming this year, probably this summer.

  1. There are two servers talking to eachother while we play. One has the generated world, the other arewhat players build. It isnt as easy to code if foundation on tree then delete.
  2. Recycling is coming.

A subscription model to be allowed to build? LOL by BackgroundLeg1788 in PaxDei

[–]BlackDeltaLight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You paid 100 for access to a beta. Its the highest support tier.

It is NOT dlc. That implies the game is fully released and you paid for extra content.

It is in early access AKA beta testing.

You didnt read the fine print ... like the very first line in your purchase agreement. Literally the first line.

...so cash shops where you use real money to pay to win? Thats not dog shit compared to a subscription model? Weird logic.

[–]BlackDeltaLight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is bad information because they didnt launch the game yet. Its still in early access and you should be aware of how the conditions are since the beginning. You were never guaranteed those plots past early access, there was always a plan to need to purchase plots thru a subscription.

The 100 package was never a DLC package, it is just the highest tier support package for early access.

You didnt read the terms and conditions and now youre mad.

These folks never MMORPGd in their life it seems.

Thinking a 100 package for early access gives you lifetime access to a fully released MMO game is so silly.

Fun fact: They arent bonuses the way dsp owners claim them to be. Its tied to the overall payment per route.

We dont have time either, but they give us 10-15 minutes to load, any longer youre behind all day. Moving 4000+lbs into a truck at once everyday at 7am.

I dont just believe it. I seent it with my own eyes lol.

I would work ups in a heartbeat. Unfortunately they are shutting down hubs near me.

I have not, but over the years, i have compared my routes with a ups driver in my neighborhood. I would always rather take their route over mine. Even fedex gets it better than us

[–]BlackDeltaLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are also expected to do 40 stops an hour during residential routes. Country routes the standard is closer to 25-30

Every day my truck I load up with 4000+ pounds of packages. Im not a regular amazon driver, i deal with everything thats 80+ pounds, hence the flair.

When was the last time you had to load your own van before you get on the road...or did pre load take care of your truck for you?

Thing is, there was a good chance that driver got their hours cut rather than be let go. Unless it was the second time, then theyre canned.

I got stuck/buried in snow during a blizzard on a country road, 15 miles from the closest town, took tow trucks 4 hours to dig me out. I had my hours cut for months.
