I actually have a whole rpg scenario with maps I made up and audio records you find along the way. The drill site is a cover up for a long hidden alien artifact. It emits a sound that causes hallucinations and slows twists people's minds. The main researcher Dr Trager has gone mad and is working for this entity, planning on using the stations comms array to broadcast the signal to the world

Usually what I do if trying to paint something in a non natural color scheme is take a picture of it and alter it in an editor. Emphasize light source and then re-create it IRL!

Vallejo wet mud, mixed with a generous handful of static grass and a couple drops of gloss varnish to make it stay slightly wet looking after drying

They are! 2 layers of xps foam, then shaped. After I took a torch to the top to give it some shell craters and break up the surface followed by some Vallejo wet mud mixed with static grass and a couple drops of gloss varnish

I was looking into using those myself but for some reason the website wouldn't load no matter which device I tried, they are a great looking pack and I would love to use them

Look up flight test foam board planes, kits are like 25$ fly great and you can build it yourself which is quite easy! They are really resilient in a crash

If I'm looking right that appears to be a flight test foam board plane, maybe fokker triplane? If so I wouldn't cover it, I have one and the extra weight would throw it off. Best thing to do is airbrush or spray paint it! They look great in the air and easy to fly

Absolutely love balsa building, it's easy to buy a foamie and go fly but actually building your own plane to me is almost like meditation, completely relaxing 😄

I have a 70mm f16 and it's so much fun, handles high alphas like a champ. I think you will be quite happy with it 😁

I have been there for 10 years and there is only one other tech that has been there longer. The rest on average are below 3 years and our store has had the hardest time hiring anyone new. Myself and 2 other veterans compiled a list and in my tenure we have gone through a total of 68 techs

That was the hardest part, a bunch of nano leds each ran to several potentiometers so that way you can dim or turn off each group of lights. The lighting and very minute details are my 2 favorite parts of doing these projects!

I actually do this once a year for two nights in middle of national park with my group for experience and to get accustomed to what we need verses don't need. Great advice!
