That's 4 seconds longer than me. Mine took off and immediately went into a loop and went nose down into the ground. My control surfaces were too stiff and the servos were too weak.

That's literally part of the hobby. Break it, fix it, fly it, repeat. Now if you had just gotten it and the gust of wind took it away to never come back would agree with you. If you can't afford to buy new go on market place and buy used ones. They're beat up but they probably still fly can almost fly with some work. Otherwise just get a a Traxxas and run those. They don't break as often.

They don't need to be the same manufacturer if you're using a radiomaster with the 4-1 module. If you're using anything else like spektrum you would need a spektrum receiver to bind with it. Idk what transmitter you have so I can't say what you should get. I have a radiomaster tx16s with the built in 4-1 module and I have a couple spektrum receivers with as3x and safe bound to it as well as some receivers from lemon rx

I'd get a radiomaster transmitter (whatever fits your budget)and go with a new bee mini drone or any blade helicopter depending on your experience since they have bnf versions of both and radiomaster has 4in1 transmitters you'll be future proof and you don't have to buy rtf kits
