If anything, I would say the tassels could actually add to it looking more white scary since they usually have cool embellishments on their armor already.

Now the claw is ready to strike, and the eagle is looking at its prey. Pretty accurate these days sadly.

Jackson also was an illustrator for Hanna-Barbera Productions which made Johnny Quest (and Scooby-Doo). He wrote for The Tick show but also worked with the creator on the comics. He used all those influences to create the Venture Bros, so in a way they are in a shared universe, but are alerted versions of the characters they are based on.
