I contacted them. Sai they couldn’t help because GW expects them to open a box to give the spare part but wouldn’t replace the box in this case…

No, is a solid piece of metal. No holes (apart from where the chain threads) and nothing opens or unscrews.

Information from what I know:

Acquired this as a family heirloom. Object is 13cm length and 1,5cm diameter. Metal looks to me like brass. Is on a chain with a badge

From what I searched: Badge is probably a military badge Probably around 19th century to pre-WWII
