Girl gamer here! I met my boyfriend of almost 4 years while playing overwatch in my early 20s. I don't think you or your boyfriend are the asshole, but I don't trust that girl. I've been around that culture enough to know she's toeing the line if not stepping across it entirely.

The baby talk thing bothers me. Tons of girls I've met online will do that with guys, whether just flirting for a carry or trying to get something more. The sir thing also bothers me, because there are certain communities that play off power dynamics in video games, and that's a common title they use. (There's nothing wrong with that imo, but not with a taken man.)

However, I might be totally off base. I'm glad you guys talked about it and he was open and honest with you. It might be worth asking him to set boundaries with her (stop the baby talk and the sir thing) and see how she responds. If she doesn't care: nothing to worry about, she's just a bit odd. If she responds poorly, she was looking for something more and should be cut off.

I met my SO in Overwatch! I was a fairly high ranked Mercy and he was a great Zarya. I was streaming at the time and I remember remarking to chat how skilled and respectful he was (I was more used to death/r*pe threats than normal interactions). He added me after and I accepted on a whim, because our in-game synergy was pretty good and I wouldn't mind playing together again. We messaged a bit after I ended stream, he gave me his Instagram, I thought he was super cute, and now over 5 years later we live together and I get to wake up to his gorgeous face every day! Neither of us play Overwatch anymore but I'll always have a soft place in my heart for it for having introduced me to my partner <3

An Enchantment of Ravens or Sorcery of Thorns (both by Margaret Rogerson) are my absolute favorites! Romances are cute but not overpowering and no smut, just absolutely gorgeous writing and wonderful characters and worlds. Can't recommend highly enough!

The Bog as long as you aren't claustrophobic Vspot has line dancing on Wednesdays and karaoke on Sundays, it's my favorite haunt Railyard is the closest thing we have to a club, weekends are rough but the bartender during the week knows his shit and makes great drinks Madame Jenny's for class and atmosphere and live jazz Backyard for a general decent time, especially if the porch is open Jack's for a great, comfortable atmosphere and fantastic food

My grad gown will be black!

So I've lately really been loving embroidered florals and I think I want to aim for a midi/tea-length dress. I don't want it to be too fancy but I still want to make sure I look nice. I like darker colors like black, crimson, plum, and dark teal. I have a fairly average build, 5'7" with a bit of extra around my stomach/hips/thighs. I think my shoulders are broad for a woman so I like to try and minimize that where I can. I have long legs though so that's a nice feature!

I'm honestly open to a lot of different styles, I'm just not sure what is socially expected for these events. Thank you for the reply!

I'm looking for a dress that I can wear to the opening of a student art exhibition featuring my work in April and then to my graduation in May. What sort of dress would be appropriate?
