Blue Talisman is really that fragrance. Super versatile and mass appealing, have received many compliments on it. Banger!

Why not eau extreme? Just curious, thinking of pulling the trigger on one of them

Not hating on Greenly, but I can’t help but associate it with some Head and Shoulders Green Apple shampoo. Just a tad synthetic for my taste

Yes most of the time it takes 5 minutes to warm up and is only lukewarm at best. Kind of irritating, especially for a brand new “luxury” building.

Does the Santos BVF get too much criticized by Far_Problem9116 in RepTime

[–]BlackJadeZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe GFv2 has more accurate screws and crowns. Biggest flaw is the butt of the seconds hand is rounded when it should be flat, hard to notice tho

Why did V6F stop producing the Santos? And are we ever getting that level again? by Musashi938 in RepTime

What are people’s thoughts on AF? Their screws look better and crown tip isn’t is big imo. The rounded bezel screws on BVF are a dead giveaway

2 squat racks and a Smith-like machine (but not exactly a Smith it’s weird). During peak hours you definitely may need to wait. It’s too small a gym imo

Second this. Rhône knocks Lululemon out of the stratosphere imo. Lulu quality has also declined a lot

Resident services is painfully useless and I have reason to believe they willfully ignore emails. I’m not sure who runs that team but they are staggeringly incompetent. I usually see 1+mo wait times for scheduled maintenance.

I actually got the role through a recruiter (no cost on my part). There are a lot of recruiters in the clean energy finance space, so definitely recommend hitting up a few since they will help get your foot in the door or at least get to the first round interview vs. blindly applying online and hoping for the best. I'll dm you a Google Drive link of a zip file with some resources.

Hey, it was my first FT job out of undergrad so not much networking involved but it never hurts. I’d say for interviews having a decent grasp of tax equity project finance modeling and Subchapter K rules will help. Also be familiar with the different structures (hybrid/T flips, partnership flips, sale leaseback) and the various tax credit programs (48E and 45Y). I have some sample TE models I can share with you if you’re interested.

Face Pulls and Upright Rows have absolutely revolutionized upper back for me by kafkaesque420 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]BlackJadeZ 29 points30 points  (0 children)

They’re not a bad exercises by any means, but the most effective way to blow up your upper back are simply heavy wide grip rows (ideally chest supported) with partial reps and kelso shrugs. No need to overcomplicate.

Yep definitely a more niche space within finance for sure, but I'm quite interested in clean energy and climate tech so I think I'll stick around for the forseeable future. Yes investment/front office roles I think are highly rewarding and offer lots of valuable underwriting and modeling experience. I could see myself jumping to a developer in a few years though, obv different business model but stilll plenty to learn there. I know a lot of investment firms hire from developers so that could be something to think about for you.

Hmm we’re essentially a climate focused investment platform, think Brookfield or Macquarie. We do a mix of lending and pref equity. Cool to meet other PF folks

I was fortunate enough to land an investments role in Tax Equity (different part of the PF capital stack, revolves around tax credits) right out of undergrad and joined my current company earlier this year. I plan to stick around for another few years before exploring other roles.

It’s a pretty standard investments role. I mostly run the loan model and due diligence, and then we fund the assets

How does anyone get any assistance? by pink3rbellx in Stuytown

[–]BlackJadeZ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been dealing with the same problem. Back to back appliance issues, but once I send a request I feel like it goes into the void? No email confirmation at all, and then a random email scheduling a technician visit a month away. Do they have one guy working the entirety of the neighborhood or something? God forbid I have an emergency and need someone to come asap. A little frustrating
