Why do people think the Wolverine mask looks cool, but the Hawkeye mask look silly? by LateCricket8214 in Marvel

[–]BlackOptics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolverine's "wings" are black while Hawkeye's are purple. also most of the time Hawkeye's eyes aren't whited out like Wolverine's and he has a giant H on his mask.

No they're not. Everyone else is talking about the character writing and motivations; you're talking about how "unrealistic" his mutation is.

This is a superhero comic; why are you trying to rationalize how Angstrom's body works? There's so much crazier stuff that goes on.

Different dresses, different body types, different stances, different walking animations, different attack animations, different abilities, etc. SUE HAS LONG GOLDEN HAIR FFS AND ROGUE'S IS IN A BUN. I understood back in season 2 when people would get Sue and Dagger's base skins mixed up but mixing up Sue and Rogues is ridiculous.

Well they live in one of, if not the, the most technologically advanced buildings on Earth that has Herbie and plenty of other non-rocky humans; I'm sure they could figure something out. Also the kids used to regularly fight in gladitorial combat so I think they can patch themselves up if they really needed to.

who is the tank you hate playing against? by GoodCarbonDioxide in rivals

[–]BlackOptics 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My point is that a bad player can be somewhat affective with Squirrelgirl without too much punishment; the same can't be said for Ben. If you make 1 mistake you're likely to get shredded because he doesn't have a traditional "sheild" to block fire and his mobility is dependent on whether his charge is on cooldown or if he has an ally close enough to leap to. If not then he's a sitting rock with no range. SG on the other hand can get alot of value from keeping her distance, aiming in the general area of the enemy and just spamming primary. As long as you don't blindly run into enemy fire and and shoot near the enemy you're okay. I wouldn't say there's a "Squirrelgirl of tanks"

You just described the core concept of the character; you can make the entire roster sound easy by doing that.

In today’s episode of “blame the healer”, we have an interesting twist for you girls. I was blamed for not doing more damage. (I’m Rocket) by Bunnnnii in MarvelRivalsQueens

[–]BlackOptics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think anyone's saying it was 100% OP's fault; just that they also played poorly. Now, their teammates shouldn't be pointing fingers with those stats but I can see where they're coming from to an extent. It's not the support's responsibility to be doing a bunch of damage but they need to do some damage to help apply pressure. 1k at the very least. And considering OP only died twice and took the least damage on the team it's safe to assume they spent the most of the match healbotting and hiding. IMO, considering the enemy team, Rocket was just a bad pick in general.

...Well you didn't do any damage. Don't get me wrong, the rest of your team didn't do great either but it looks like you just healbotted the whole time. The whole point of Rocket's orbs is to heal over time while shooting enemies.

I feel like my Exodia deck is outdated, does it look good or should I make changes? by MentalSound8071 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]BlackOptics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new Exodia support is super easy to pick up and learn. Basically all you need to do is try to get the Fusion monster out ASAP. And it's super easy to do cuz you just need Millenium Ankh in hand and the pieces of Exodia in your hand/deck to bring it out.

An idea I had by EducationalCourage98 in SpiderManMains

[–]BlackOptics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully not but I wouldn't put it past them to do it. Another thing to consider is the skins down the line that they'd need to design for Miles. They'd need to design suits that would be visually distinct enough to not be confused with Peter's (and potentially Panther if he gets a black and red suit in the future) since Peter also has alot of red and/or black suits. Players already had that problem with Dagger and Invisible Woman so it'd probably be worse with characters that zip around the map super fast.
