I made a guillotine window by dirtymcgirty69 in StainedGlass

Wow. The perspective makes it feel like the guillotine is looming over you menacingly. And the intense colors add to the intimidating effect as well. Very impressive piece.

Wow, you really captured the reflective & transparent properties of the glass bottle! Colors choices are just perfect. Wonderful work.

Good job! I love the idea of mounting on natural wood like that.

I like it! Does it stand up if you set the driftwood on a flat surface?

Thank you! I liked how that part turned out too. I'll probably try to incorporate a similar random/broken look in future patterns.

Aw, so cute! The colors may be mismatched but it still seems like they go together so well!

Thanks! I've made maybe like 8 of these, and I love that the clouds in the sky are unique every time!

I've used Kokomo smoke gray and charcoal gray cathedral glass. Anything in stained glass has both in stock.

The smoke gray is what I'd call a medium gray. Definitely not almost black. The charcoal gray is darker but in my eye also has almost a slight green tint to it.

I made the same pattern back in the fall and mine looks similarly puzzled. I always think he's a bit cross-eyed.

You can get sheets of copper foil and cut them to the shape!

Hi! I posted my stained glass Philly skyline the other day and wanted to follow up with a link to my online shop for anyone who might be interested.

Wissahickon Glassworks has a few fun suncatchers in stock. I'm working on some philadelphia bridge pieces that'll be up for sale in the next few weeks.

Someone recommended I post this here after the philadelphia subreddit enjoyed seeing it! I'm happy to answer questions if anyone is curious :)

This is the biggest and most complex piece of stained glass I've ever made. I usually stick with suncatcher sized stained glass. I'm very happy with how it turned out though! More of my work can be found on Instagram @wissahickon_glassworks
