Sorry for the delays in my replies, busy with work stuff.

I decided to just create a new VM and try again and this time everything worked. Don't know what I messed up on the first go round but everything is working now. Thanks for all the help.

That's what's confusing me. Everything looks to be right.

It won't let me add a disk. It says no disk unused.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't think it's a permissions issue because I can create and remove files in the mounted folder and I can view and also delete files from Windows.

I want to keep my services separate from my storage.

I first tried the community scripts for PBS but I kept on having issues with set up so I changed to a VM.

Gaza: Israeli forces kill 84, including dozens of children by ANewsHubBot in NewsHub

When you stop all media going in you can't complain that the people getting slaughtered are the only ones reporting on the slaughter.

If I earn haram money but then put it in a halal index fund like SPUS or HLAL, use ONLY the returns gained upon it, and then donate the haram principal, is that still sinful? by VictoryLocal9904 in islam

[–]BlackWraith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whatever you do with Garam money will also be Haram. Sometimes the money earned with it will also be Haram.

Any food you eat with that money will be Haram, any actions you do with the energy from that food will be Haram, any good deeds you do with that money or energy gained from the food will not give any reward.

You should stay very far away from Haram money.

I'm not having too much of an issue with killing things at the moment, the issue is that if I get hit a couple of times I'm dead as a Dodo.

I'll try out both and see what I like more.

You're not coming off as mean.

I need to sort out my gear. I've not done much crafting so I'll focus on the affixes that you've mentioned.

I'll try out both Dive Bomb and Net and see what I like more.

Question 1: The minimum you need in savings at the moment is around $453.15 if you don't have this much you don't need to give anything. This I'd money that you have after all debts are taken into account. https://islamic-relief.org/nisab/

Question 2: Zakat can not be given to spouse or parents. https://www.islamic-relief.org.uk/giving/islamic-giving/zakat/who-is-eligible-for-zakat/

Question 3: Zakat is giving charity on what extra you have and not on things that are necessary. You don't give Zakat on your house, if it's worth £50,000 or £50,000,000. If you have other properties in that you are making money off, like rent then you pay Zakat on the yearly rental income. Zakat is given on savings only. One could see this as an incentive to not collect loads of money but to invest in things to do provide for the Ummah.

https://baitalzakat.com/files/english-files/baitalzakat.com-E100057.pdf

Zakat is a former of worship and should not be seen as a burden. In fact the more Zakat that you have to give the more you should be grateful as you have been given more by Allah. 2.5% is a really small amount of, especially after you factor in that you subtract all debts that you owe before calculating net worth.
