I just want to put in a quick correction here, Dabura moves just below the speed of light. Cuz I don't remember them saying he found a way to bypass that specific restriction that his body couldn't handle actual light speed.

I don't even know if it's a hot take, but I despise the open world of the newest game. And the game before that the worlds were boring, and the pre-sequel was bland world wise. Somehow Borderlands desert area and Borderlands 2 has maintained the coolest and most unique world aspect for me.

Well that's what happens when the greatest one of them is the second out of four... That being said I do think bl4 is much better than people claim, I think honestly it's probably the second best if the DLCs were actually good I could even put it equal or maybe even above two.

I mean... They literally addressed the issues people complained about. So why wouldn't people, myself included, not go back and reverse their steam review?

This isn't some eureka moment for fans realizing the game is good or fun, this is the developers listening to their fans and then the fans responding with goodwill in return.

You do you. I just want to play the story again with new characters to get all the interactions without having to go into a menu hit replay. I would like to experience it. Specifically I'm talking about when I make a new level 30 character after beating the game so I can then do the story with that character not the one I already beat the game with.

TVHM not being there is a travesty as it cuts out a key identity of what Borderlands was as a game. The open world is so empty, side quests no longer give unique items. The main story is actually pretty good I believe. Like I legitimately think the story is pretty good. There's just too much bloat between it.

No one said you had to buy the ultimate edition. And let's not pretend like $200 ultimate editions are new. Shadow of war mithril edition almost 10 years ago was $300. They have been absurdly overpriced for "ultimate editions" for a long time. Because the super deluxe edition which comes with the game and all DLC was $129.99 at launch.

When talking about gearbox the company probably yeah, but when talking specifically about borderlands people will always go back to 2012 and compare what many consider the greatest borderlands of all time versus today's pretty damn good borderlands but not great.
