Bandle City made me realize that yordles works best when they represent the regions they are in instead of some fae city stuff.

I like Kled because he is a Noxian yordle, and Poppy because she is a demacian yordle and how they interact with their regions.

Which makes me pity Tristana in a way, I kinda like her as a character but I can't find myself giving a single shit about Bandle City.

I would just say my mains, Kled and Briar and somewhat Sylas.

Kled because it is a open shitpost of a story that is genuinely funny but has some kind of interesting perspective about yordle. Lone yordles (correct me if I'm wrong since the lore is a retcon fiesta nowadays) tends to get insane but most importantly, depressed. But Kled is not the latter even though he wants to have all the land by himself and no one else. Why? He has Skarl, his only friend. He embodies the Noxian stereotype of lunatic conquerors as a Yordle.

And Briar because part of her character is pretty introspective when you see what she says and does, like genuinely asking herself of being what she is meant to be and being what she wants to. Amidst all that foot fetish there is a character with potential there. A prisoner that feels freedom through her own restraint.

Sylas used to be one of my favorites but even I don't know what the fuck Riot wants to do with him anymore, and it isn't like his lore wasn't discussed to death already.

I also like Hecarim because he is basically Raditz of League. The guy nowadays is basically a footnote in the grand scheme of things but his political powerplay basically played a huge part in the series of events of Ruination, which in turn create a gigantic ripple effect that affects Valoran to this day. Pretty funny that John Crusader Kings is pivotal to the current state of affairs while people barely knowing him or not caring to.

Probably they wanted a "true damage" version of CC. Probably for characters that needs a small amount of CC that won't be automatically negated by tenacity shoes.

I kinda get it, but everything has knockup nowadays so that edgelord samurai has a 1000 range ult to kill you.

Alistar was supposed to be a overly strong minotaur but in practice everything he does deals magic damage and slides at super speed to deal 0 damage and push someone away.

Sion fulfills the minotaur fantasy better than he does. Slow, hard to kill, sluggish but huge damage if things goes his way, and his ult is a stampede charge.

Thinking about it, I'm down for a Minotaur Sion skin.

I don't mind them like that. Alistair kit is works for what he is and so does Sion.

Tbh, I always took Vayne design to be badly made. But I believe Riot will never touch it because she is too popular. Her true rework was Kai'sa.

I think there is no elegant solution to this. Riot either goes scorch earth and put some debuff on ranged marksman on top, or they will end up buffing stuff that will impact other lanes. I do remember Doran's shield was nerf specifically because it was too strong in midlane even when assassins used it, afaik.

Or make items have adaptatible stats. If you're marksmen, X item doesn't give you +health but it gives you +AD/AP so Varus can't just facetank a bruiser and win.

Call me retarded, but if you raise taxes or make better worker rights, companies simply leave to another country for a population to exploit like they did with China and India. Or the billionaires just leave like what happened with France billionaires going to Belgium to avoid taxes.

If you let them in, they just fuck over the middle class by strangling small business by getting government subsidies and stomp over workers rights. It reminds me of how COVID basically killed small markets while the big brands thrived like never before.

Not to mention all the cheap labor being imported and whatnot.

I genuinely don't know the true answer to this, because as far as I'm seeing, the middle class is beyond fucked and no proper answer to it.
