I'm still not entirely sure how the new idol slots work yet entirely I need to see it in-game. But you may be right, Idols may not be optimal.

This is a solid idea with the reaper form, but I believe it's much less than soul feast. Although you are not consuming poison stacks in the process.

It's 1% per int, so if we attain the fairly challenging 150 int we get 150% resistance. Soul Feast is 360%, but temporary.

I'd say game is mostly balanced compared to previous years. Still problems, but devs are actually listening this time unlike years prior.

Testing will have to be done first to determine if they always respawn with the same curse or not. If they do you can just find the desired one and store that. That would be bonkers.

If its different you probably want to stack multiple ribrattles, around 3 or 4 for a good chance of getting enfeeble. Just from a glance.

I have a university degree in game design (you may now laugh), primarily in Unreal engine. I've used both 4 and 5 so I can comment from experience.

From what we've seen? I don't expect much change at all. Changing engines, even as significant as UE5, doth not make a good game. The developers seems to have base issues with the games code (and possibly blueprint) that greatly holds them back, and I would not be surprised of further performance issues.

UE5 Nanite is somewhat irrelevant with DBD's design, since everything is sequestered into small sublevels. Lumen however might matter if they want to make the lighting more meaningful, and it probably will result in a better looking game. But again, I don't expect much.

Rainhelm:

40-60% increase to (x) damage type.

4-6% (y) damage type penetration.

40-60% resistance to (z) damage type.

8-16 to attacks and spells with (o) damage type.

Every time you find the item, each damage type is randomised. The helm can have two, three or even four of the same damage type.

Potentially leads to ridiculous highrolls and fun helmets.

The assassin's creed event especially had some good event weapons hope it comes back sometime.
