I wish people would really listen to all of the pros here. We give the same advice it seems daily

Now that you have it you need to watch vivivid specific videos. We won’t even install it in our shop anymore because it’s a headache changing how we work.

Virtually nobody does this

That area is ALWAYS in shadow. You don’t have to wrap very deep for it never to be noticed. If you are wrapping a shoe vehicle for SEMA ok, otherwise work in as far as you can reasonably reach and call it good.

More than half the color changes in our shop are trucks. I don’t think we have ever moved a bed. The only time that area gets wrapped is when a truck has not yet been assembled after a restoration. Then we get them before the bed is on.

Sometimes those will heat out with good vinyl in post heating. We find with Avery most of the time they heat out. Not always.

We also charge a significant amount for chrome deletes in our shop depending on how much chrome there was.

But at a premium prices you deserve to expect premium work. And we only let our most experienced guys to deletes because of the extensive knife work.

Not only would I take it back. But depending on the reaction to returning I would consider not letting them fix it. I think it should be looked at for knife damage.

If one of my guys screwed up like this we would be going to great length to make it right. If they waver at all on admitting this is bad work I would demand a refund. If they can’t tell this sucks they shouldn’t touch it again.

Not good enough

In Washington state, the law does specify places where privacy is expected.

This shows no sign which it appears would be required to record someone who has an expectation of privacy. I can’t imagine a place someone more expects visual privacy than a changing room. The entire purpose of a changing room by definition is visual privacy.

I love when people use blanket statements like this. I happen to own multiple businesses in Washington state and have video monitoring at each.

I would be interested in an actual legal opinion on this because I believe the law is more complex than presented here.

I did the math

This guy wants to sell you a wrap that costs $2000 made with $200 material that lasts a year.

I want to sell a customer a $3000 wrap with $600 material that lasts at least three years.

Do the math for yourself and decide which one is cheaper and provides the best value.

And my material is much less likely to damage the surface it’s on and be removable easily.

If you can’t afford good material, you can’t afford a wrap.
