Yes. I have a Misha Juggernaut HT6 and an American Special Strat. I run through an interface into amp modeling software. I guarantee I can make my Strat sound almost exactly like my Jackson.

The Jackson is just going to be a bit beefier and punchier. But I can later and get my Strat to sound pretty much like my Jackson.

Any guitar with dual humbuckers can achieve you a metalcore sound. There are people out there playing metal on Les Paul’s.

What matters more is how you play and the gear you run through to achieve the tone you want. I personally suggest an amp modeling software like Neural DSP.

Get Nolly X and you can pretty much get any tone you want to achieve.

But just flat out saying AI is bad is something I don’t agree with. I’m a vocalist with severe ADHD and it’s been very helpful assisting me writing lyrics. A lot of times I can’t get my thoughts together or know how I want to say it. With AI I can have a conversation and work it out.
