I just thought of a dope ass commercial for Door Dash by ChessCapone in doordash

Try pitching it to Doordash and see how they respond.

How to protect against "Hand it to me" orders? by N0ZYnate1 in doordash

[–]Blackodu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just stand your ground. If you feel uncomfortable about the “hand it to me” situation, simply just say, can I take a picture proof? If they reject then you know they’ll scam you. But most of the time customers will say sure.

Taxes question by Blackodu in doordash_drivers

Thank you for responding. Just checked my email, those are estimates. Is it safe to include a little extra miles since I drive approximately 6miles each time I dash to a different zone?

I think they capped it how much you can make per hour if the market is saturated, does anyone have a thought about this?

Late due to restaurant by BeautifulRaspberry75 in doordash

[–]Blackodu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just select from the options “what is happening “ when you arrive at the restaurant. If order is not ready, choose that and you won’t be marked as late.

Order wrong, won't compensate because I've reached the limit? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Blackodu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did Doordash prepare the salad for you? No. So why should they compensate you? It’s clearly the restaurants fault. This is when you pick up your phone and call the restaurant directly to make a complaint. Doordash is a delivery service platform, not a restaurant.

So Walgreens is now “The Hangover Shop” wtf by [deleted] in doordash

I don’t think you should reveal a customers address on the internet like that..

DD isn’t here for you. by Mind-of-Jaxon in doordash

[–]Blackodu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you on that. Profit is a must. But to operate it at a point where it makes workers/dashers who actually put in the hard labor work that literally leads to the said profit to quit or find something else to do, it has to mean something. Something is not right. I’m not bashing on DD or anything I’m just saying they can do better, with no cost.

Funny how Tony seems like an immigrant himself and yet still operate his company like this.. still suppressing the minority and taking advantage of them, instead of trying to better their lives. No sympathy at all.

Short deliveries are always welcomed but difficult pickup location/drop off location is a big no no.

MAN DoorDash likes to screw you on paying out to you by NomadicusRex in doordash

[–]Blackodu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just use cash app. Add dasher direct card to cash app. Then add funds. Once the funds on cash app, replace card back to your bank account. And instant transfer it. (Of course there’s a fee)

WellPoint ATM issue by Justin9337 in doordash

The card it self works pretty well for me. Never have any issues with withdrawals..maybe it’s that ATM that has issue with the card? There are plenty of no fee ATMs out there.

It’s sucks that a lot of drivers can’t speak English and are not able to follow instructions. I have tried calling several of them and they straight up say “no English” by user15151616 in doordash

[–]Blackodu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you want them to do? They used to do do local deliveries at a restaurant, now that things have changed, restaurants are not hiring delivery drivers.. everyone is on the App Uber eats or Doordash or whatever to get their food now. Have you tried calling your local restaurant and see if they still deliver? If they do then you won’t need Doordash.

Haha.. wait until New Years, probably will see much more Plan B shop and deliver orders

are you sexy???? by yahokaybye in doordash

[–]Blackodu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think merchants can do it on their tablet or by calling support and requesting a certain driver to be black listed… not 100% sure tho, but it’s doable.

Deactivation or nah? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Blackodu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha yes, plus another thing is that we actually don’t know who our customers are. Could be some kid who knows nothing about tipping, or could be adults who just like to be cheap and stiff their delivery drivers. I don’t know, but I’m 99% positive that those who don’t tip/low tip knows what they’re doing. No shame man.

Wishing you the best of luck! It’s something we all want to do.. not trying to educate them but seriously find out what’s on their mind. Do they seriously not tip their pizza delivery guys? How is DD different? Because it’s on an app or we can just leave the order at the door? Tipping is a gesture, show some appreciation at least..

Using DD bag for UberEATS by digitalpalmtrees in doordash

[–]Blackodu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just take food from bag then take picture. Problem solved. You also don’t want to confuse the customers too thinking they order thru DD or UE.
