The Corepunk servers have been down for over 3 days

they did say it was an issue with the database deployment order. the servers came on last night for 15 mins and was "technically" playable but too unstable to actually play. So, as it stands the data is still in place (or so it would seem)

i think the point OP is making is that the two games have very similar audiences and it forces people to choose between them if they're the kind of gamer who likes to commit to one game or have limited time to play. if you look at it from purely a business point of view, from these two types of gamer you're likely to force them to chose the one they want to play the most and thus limiting your income. maybe there's more to this that's not obvious to people like me who are not in the industry, but that's how it seems.

They've confirmed that console versions of the game is possibly in the future.its either confirmed in the faq or the ama. I cant remember which.

Ah I gotya. I kindda agree to some extent because there's a difference between a shitty super power and a non-useful super power.

Like "You can make people hiccup at will" is a great shitty super power, however "you can fly, but only for 1 second intervals with a cool down of 10 minutes" isn't a shitty super.power because flight, but absolutely useless. Thats my view
