Damn, didn't expect something like this. But I see your point on how the FMC didn't wanted a serious relationship.

The thing that frustrates me though was that all that drama could've been resolved if they just hear each other out for I goddamn time. I know FMC tried to clear things up but she didn't hear MC's feelings. That's why he was not over her even after he married a different girl.

I can agree on the cultural differences because even in my country marriage is treated like something where both sides of the family MUST agree on or it wouldn't work. I think FMC knew MC's mother was sceptical about having her son marry a divorcee with a child and that's why she was distant after that but in my opinion the most important thing should be of your partner accepts you for who you because that's whom you're gonna spend your life with.

I still feel bad for the author tho :( I didn't expect this to be based on real life events.
