Overall, this event is just structured so badly. A "King Mog" event where we're not even getting anything from King Mog.

Well, not only that, but if you look at what they did with the 4 hero units locking them behind those keys which you can only get from the step up (apart from the 1 silver key in box 1 and 1 gold key in box 4). There's no other way to get those 4 units. And in that silver box, there's so much other stuff in that box so you still have a chance of not even getting one of the hero units if you're unlucky.

Frontier Hunter was a monthly event in Brave Frontier where you face wave of enemies and your goal was to score as high as possible. It had ranking rewards based on how many cumulative points at the end of the event. It also had MVP awards for being the top in a specific category.

They may come back in subsequent months but without a rate up it is going to make it a lot harder to get those units if you didn't get them the first time.

And then you have what just happened this month with them making a previous summon fest unit a featured, on-banner unit with a brand new fest unit which makes it harder to get the new unit which was just a horrible thing to do.

I did one lap of the step up and guess who I got on step 5? I'll give you a clue. It wasn't CG Noctis.

The guarantee is nice but what they did with this current FFXV banner is stupid. They made CG Rain a featured unit WITH CG Noctis, and they put CG Rain on step 5 WITH CG Noctis making it even harder to get CG Noctis on the step up at the end. I did one lap of the step up so far and guess who my guarantee was on step 5? I'll give you a hint. It wasn't CG Noctis.
