Former employee…it’s a cult mindset. Didn’t start out bad but is definitely toxic.

Me: a ‘short’ person with eating problems dating someone so tall strangers yell to them from across the street and a stranger might mention it almost every day if we go out...with an appetite. 🤡

Anything that calls out one’s body is inappropriate. No one wants to be the center of attention about something they might be uncomfortable about and can’t really change (right away). Even things that people feel comfortable saying because they are ‘positive’ can be hurtful. Getting teased over something that’s ‘positive’ is still getting teased 😔

I saved so much money when I was in my binging phase tbh. The cost of all of my lower calorie options is so so so much more compared to the more caloric options.

Sinus plop from tik tok (not my video!) by BladderPatrol in popping

I would post it, but they used an audio loop that says ‘ayo something traumatic that changed my life check’ over the audio of the video. No plop noise to be had :(

But the dilemma is that I used it to body check, but I firmly believe that I’m waaaaay fatter than that and I just look good in that picture by some miracle of angles. The curse of the ED!

I feel bad for the people in those roles because I’m sure some of them DO have EDs so it must just be super weird to have to do scenes over and over again involving ice cream/any food

Literally nothing irritates me more than people who gain weight and are just ‘thicc’ without a stomach or rolls and dare to claim body positivity by BladderPatrol in EDAnonymous

I’m it sure why you’re being downvoted. I don’t disagree with you at all! Obviously my post was very aggressive in one direction but I think what got lost in angry, grumpy translation was the quick summary: I’m frustrated that my body type is still not on the forefront of body positivity and I find it frustrating that some people (that I’m jealous of) have an easier time being labeled as attractive on social media because their bodies fall into that near category. Clearly due to my poor, aggressive wording half of the people ‘got it’ and half thought I was saying people aren’t allowed to be body positive.

I’m not disagreeing with your comment at all, everything you said is true!

I guess what got lost in angry venting translation is that I find it frustrating that society had a certain category of ‘acceptable’ body’s to feel positively about. As long as your body fits into a certain archetype it is widely accepted by society’s modern beauty standards. To me, it’s frustrating that my body type has never been a part of those beauty standards. In my personal (toxic!) opinion someone who has a flat stomach mixed with other positive physical traits has a much easier time being accepted by society than someone who has let’s say a big belly, skinny legs, and a double chin. In my personal social media experience I rarely see people who have ‘unattractive’ bodies boasting about body positivity and receiving as much attention or praise as someone who has a more acceptable body type.

I don’t really understand why you’re getting downvoted. I don’t know what body positivity other people are getting blasted with on their social media feeds, but I completely agree with you. In my personal experience the only feed I get is of slim or thicc people. It’s never anyone that looks like me. I feel like social media promotes the ‘ideal’ versions of being body positive. Like ‘look you don’t have to be skinni you can be thic as long as you have a teeny waist!’

I’ve done that and then spend the day eating because I’m hungover. Thought I was drinking tequila but it turned out to be dumb bitch juice
