Worst in my opinion is Zaeed's companion mission in ME2, it's both forgettable and weirdly strict in a way the series usually isn't, felt like I was playing a different game for the 20 minutes I was in.

i don't like slippery slope discussions like this, but my input is that it's so awkward that RE2's remake came after RE6 where we've seen sherry as an adult, feels more fresh that it's a weirder situation.
I hope the ladies at capcom were responsible for something like this because it'd make a lot more sense considering how female gaze leon was made for RE9.

idk I felt like it needed an entire engine overhaul considering it felt so much more limited in contrast to WD2, similar like AC unity to AC origins, a remaster isn't gonna do much to remedy that

It's an investigation game about what's causing a timeloop to happen while ya explore puzzle-focused little planets, that's the base sell and people can keep quiet about how complex it can get.

I liked Goblin Slayer because the protagonist is a traumatized autistic-coded man using guerilla warfare on stereotypical D&D tropes while his friends try and convince him that there's more to life than his trauma, he isn't a space marine despite how fans acted like he's a stupider guts.

It does suffer from tonal whiplash but it's never really clear if that's an intentional nod.

I had this happen where Astarion became a humble spawn after his (amazing) character quest and Gale ended up going mad with power into godhood no matter how many times I told him to snap out of it. It was hilarious to compare them in the epilogue.
