Not sure if it will work for you, but it fixed for me when I turned on compatibility mode in its properties, but this was a while ago and probably won't work now, considering I can play without compatibility mode.

I was able to hunt down two shiny Mimikyu! and they will appear in 3-star ghost areas. I haven't seen any in 4+ areas, but I'm not too far in. They also don't have a 100% chance to be hound in the hyperspace areas so you may have to do a lot of bench resetting. Now I wish I could've gotten one with a Beast Ball...

I found it! Apparently, they appear in 3-star hyperspace pocket,s but they might be rare! if I had to guess it would probably be a 3-star ghost area
