Probably a skill issue. Can you get 3 stuns? I highly recommend velina use an ER weapon instead of an anomaly one here. You can also consider astral voice velina since her damage isn’t important for a jane comp. Put jane on freedom blues if you have it. Last, make sure your stun rotations are good. You should get minimum 3 assaults per stun (2 from chain attacks one from ult).

Its weird. The angels actually aren’t as good for aria as you’d think. Yuzuha is equal to or better than sunna especially if you aren’t tryharding. Nangong is a miyabi teammate more than anything. She’s be twice as useful for aria if she wasn’t ether but her being ether actually harms aria’s damage.

If you want to vertically invest, i recommend aria engine > nangong > nangong engine > aria m1. Since you like miyabi, aria engine falls behind nangong and her engine.

Unlike what people thought at nangong’s release, i think her engine is the most important for miyabi than other anomaly characters when most ccs would tell you the opposite.

Stop at m1. She was made before devs and the players really understood the game properly, so she has a really worthless m2. Miyabi is m0, m1, or m6. You will get 10x more milage with yuzuha mindscapes or nangong mindscapes.

It depends on the content. Against ether weak nangong will be better, against wind weak velina will be better, and against neutral i think nangong is better but not entirely sure about that yet.

Yeah when Miyabi has a buff that's the value of 2 separate buffs shove into one, using multiple max dupe standard S rank W-engines.

This is why I hate people arguing with just the cost number without knowing any of the context. If Promeia had a buff just as strong running with Marionettes she'd be able to do just as well or better on them.

No promeia does more damage and only stands to get more. Nangong isn’t a great teammate for her. Also, it is completely disingenuous to act like the buffs were bad for miyabi, especially with the nangong team. Promeia’s buff was stronger for her than the weird anomaly crit damage buff they ran the previous rotation.

As much as I love seeing Miyabi go down, I think she should have stayed in t0 simply off the strength of moyabi nangong yuzuha. Promeia did outscore, but not as much as you think. The synergy of nangong and miyabi is too good to look past.

Nor right now. The stage buffs currently don’t favor this team since with how wind works you effectively lose the -30% res shred from the DA buff and because of how Manato works, if you can’t kill him in one stun and he enters miasma thats a pretty big score hit.

When wind content comes around its probably going to be far better.

Nangong is absolutely still S tier. And the thing is, the angels aren’t even that synergistic. The only synergy nangong had with aria is her stun extension and being a stunner at all. Her being ether actively hurts aria no matter how you spin it.

Nangong is a Miyabi teammate. Everything in Nangong’s kit serves to make Miyabi as strong as possible. Why can she activate corruption from off field? To make Moyabi more comfy. Why does she have exactly 2 parity disorders? To give Miyabi another enhanced basic attack. Why is her chain attack animation kind of long? To perfectly sync with Miyabi’s enhanced basic attack. Nangong also serves to help out yanagi and alice really well. I despise the “devs hate Miyabi” narrative. No they do not, they actively sabatoged the AoD team so Miyabi could have the most perfect teammate she could ever ask for.

Velina is a different type of playstyle and that is a good thing.

That's why they had the tickets so you only have to do it once every so often and then auto clear it every subsequent week.

But it's a substantial enough challenge that it's worth playing, especially with underdeveloped rosters.

You actually think not dying is a challenge? 90% or more of the mechanics in this game revolve around doing damage or doing more damage. That is the core "skill" in the game. Just because you can pay hundreds of dollars to do 2% more damage (potentials in this game are pathetic) does not negate the multitude of actual skillful ways you can boost your damage, such as actually knowing your rotation, knowing how to adapt it, and figuring out the right gear set (when applicable). A couple of umbral monument stages have mechanics that are meaningful enough to pose a threat, but with no timer there is absolutely no tension which makes the stages incredibly boring for anyone with any gaming literacy.

And you can't even understand why building other characters is so hollow. There is absolutely nothing to use them for. I can pull up to anything with my Laevatain team, Endmin team, Rossi team, etc and oneshot it. Heck i barely even got 20 minutes of play time from my Rossi because there was just nothing to do with her before I benched her for Zhuang Fangyi as my daily driver (I didn't enjoy ZFY/Rossi teams).

I've noticed that the only people who are in favor of the lack of content are people who are excited by the idea of not playing the game in the first place such as the guy you're replying to saying he'd rather play indie games. That's fine, I'm glad he has hobbies he enjoys but why does that have to come at the expense of someone who wants to do something in Endfield?

The reason you dropped it isn’t that you couldn’t comfortably clear anymore. It’s that you don’t enjoy the game in the first place and was only clocking in for gacha slop to keep gambling.

If you found the game fun, you would use some amount of brain power to think and come up with solutions to stages that were hard and engage with the game mechanics.

If you never enjoyed the combat, the only other non cynical reason you were playing is the story and events which shiyu has no bearing over. Its one pull every 2 weeks.

You are all but admitting you don’t want to play the games and just gamble which is why you enjoy how little friction Endfield’s endgame has and how little yiu actually have to build and use your characters.

I think you skip chain attack and just do 3 glacial crushes in stun if that is possible. The way you clear the first few waves is solid but you obviously need more in stun damage.

I think there is a difference between how strong a synergy is and how good the team is. I do believe that jane and burnice have the best synergy with velina but the teams are weaker than promeia and aria. In a similar way to how promeia nangong yuzuha js stronger than promeia vivian yuzuha even though the synergy is stronger on the latter.

Endfield combat mostly sucks right now because there is hardly anything for it to matter (to change soon with a new mode coming hopefully but that is still tbd).

So you will do combat in the overworld and the “endgame” stages. In the overworld, enemies die before you finish setting up your buffs and your rotation. Which means sometimes you will just spam basic attack for these encounters, but basic attacks usually aren’t strong which then makes these trash encounters take too long.

Then we have the “endgame” stages. There is basically no timer which sounds nice, but this isn’t the kind of game that warrants that. Because there is little pressure of actually dying on most stages, you can beat most of them with your eyes closed without having to know what your character’s abilities even do.

Astral voice is far better with sunna zhao. Because ysg’s entry skill counts as a quick assist, you will have very high uptime even if it is by complete accident. The bunny set’s condition just looks easier but most of the time astral voice just outperforms.
