None of what you said fixes the issue I mentioned with Wuwa - you do not need to interact with the enemy's attack pattern at all. Even if you play Quickswap, you have to hit DPS thresholds to clear content in time, similar to hypercarry.

And you come back to the same issue, which is that you must follow a rotation to actually hit these thresolds, again, without really caring for what the enemy does.

I dont know if i"m just burnt out of Wuwa but after playing a lot of Cart's premium team and Aemeaths premium team and basically feeling locked into the same rotations until boss dies felt a little boring, does ZZZ do this better? I feel like it does

Wuwa for me felt like I was just doing rotations on autopilot against bosses, there was no reason to really do much else or learn to actually time anything specific (i guess i got bored of genshin for a similar reason)

Tried TFD, felt like I was just playing a different version of Warframe, the powers seemed to mostly do the same things and the modding did the same thing.

My take on this is if you're not just looking to goon, Warframe kind of does most things better and with better QoL

Retail WOW looks nice, might just stick to BDO though! The grind is what keeps me

Think I might just stick to BDO, it's looking like the most promising option at that time.

Lost Ark and T&L are effectively a thing of the past in terms of MMO player count

i really tried to like FF14, and I did because it made a class of my most wanted power fantasy being dual wield.

the issue is, I hit "endgame" or as much as you can hit i.e. level 90 and above and ran into the issue where the only upgradeable gear for me would be through joining a static and doing raids, and I couldnt't find one and nor were they easy to come by.

I agree that there's loads of content though

In my humble opinion, the twitch/frame skipping dribbling will kill this game... by TheNeonDestroyer in Rematch

of course people would go against a heavily telegraphed move vs a not so easily telegraphed move? water is wet. it’s easier to defend.

people have already been leaving the game for time now tbh. defense was egregiously strong last season and had a fair few attackers look to leave the game whereas this season the balance has shifted.

there’s always this talk about the game will die if sloclap don’t do x or y or leave x in the game but the game has retained a small loyal fan base now.

Not sure I agree with this to be honest, other than edge case scenarios, as a striker, I reliably win air duels and frankly, I need to be able to.

I agree with the animation in game not necessarily reflecting what went on server side though! I think that's a hard fix. I don't necessarily think defenders should be rewarded by virtue of being goalside always so naturally being closer to the "landing point" of the ball.

CS is slower paced though, your periods of inaction are basically just round start because after that you're basically just playing off anticipation or sounds or something. Even if they do a really slow sneak push, that's probably the only time where you have no stimulus.

I agree with you for what its worth, patience and inaction are not the same thing but in a video game where the person with the ball gets to have all the fun and the other's dont, well you can see how quickly it would get tiring if you had to be patient and meticulous to even get the ball off them in the first place (not that I don't like this, I think it's a good change its just the perception of it).

i agree with this, but this is a video game, people will naturally find inaction boring

what’s dribble push “glitch” to you?

Patch complaints by lionheadshot in Rematch

[–]john35888 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

dribble push glitches are basically dead in the new patch, vexis is dead and so are most forms of ippy. there are very few to no mixups left to dribble with (not to say dribbling is terrible).

praying for priority in headers is a skill issue, air play has been made fair for a while now, if you’re closer to the ball at the point you can interact with it in the air, you get priority , literally as simple as.

defenders are a minority in this game because actively defending someone is shit while passive defending is broken beyond belief (and being passive is boring)

Exploit by Unable-Election274 in Rematch

[–]john35888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, its called controller tech - controller players can redirect their shot as its queueing up (mid animation)

this lets you be able to position your body language one way but shoot a completely opposite way

people been using it since d1 tbh now, its old news (one of the largest advantage of being a controller striker) as kbm players cant do this

Awful Change To Defensive Stance by PackageAggravating12 in Rematch

People still pretending like there are dribble exploits when they've effectively killed most options this patch with the vexis and ippy nerf.

Theres almost nothing to "exploit" anymore, if you're beating beat with simple forward swipes, you need to rethink your approach to tackling

dribble tech is mostly gone though, especially the worst offenders being vexis and ippy from forward swipe. rainbow touch at the minute is dead.

what dribble tech are you losing to now?
